arrived on site to inspect washer not turning on. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit control would not respond at times and it is making a loud noise during spin cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics and found error codes 5/2 and 0/1. I cleared the codes and began testing. Unit completed testing and no error codes appeared at the end of diagnostics. The loud noise that the customer is hearing is normal noise during spin cycle due to the high rpm's. I verified continuity to the door latch but I could not get the unit to duplicate the no function control during testing. I removed and replaced the control and tested unit again and the unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end of testing. Verified all water connection is were dry. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not dissolving the detergent. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the unit. The unit filled and attempted to wash, but the motor did not engage. I tested the heating element at the end of diagnostics by pouring water on the element and it steamed as designed. I quoted the customer $166.45 for the sump/motor assembly and DW350 $199.99 for service/labor fee for a total including tax of $396.67. The customer agreed to the repair and paid $108.24 for the service fee today and will paid the remaining balance of $288.43 when the service is completed. I am ordering a sump/motor assembly and scheduled return service for 07/19/18. No water leaks observed during service.

ASD2620HRB (SxS Refrigerator) - Arrived onsite for customer complaint of no cool after compressor install on SxS refrigerator. Used UV light and found dye in a weld connection on low side. Removed dye drier and installed new replacement. Welded connection that had a leak. Vacuumed unit down to -25psi and charged unit with 4.8oz of R134a refrigerant. Tested unit. Removed evaporator cover and verified frost pattern. Good frost pattern forming. No other issues found. All water connections were dry at time of service.

arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner not working. Upon further inspection, I turned the middle burner on and the Ignitor was sparking well, but it appeared that there was no gas coming out of the burner. I verified the other burners were working. I found that the orifices, the main orifice and the simmer orifice, were clogged or blocked. I cleaned both orifices and got them both unplugged and tested the unit and the unit operated as designed. No gas leaks detected during service. Job completed.

Upon further inspection, I pushed the cancel button two engage the drain pump and the pump sounded as if it were on as I could hear it humming, but it was not to supposed to. I removed and replaced the drain pump and found a piece of glass inside the drain pump area which appeared to have been lodged in the impellers keeping the drain pump from operating. I tested the unit in diagnostics and the unit operated as designed. I cleared all error codes as well. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

Kitchenaid refrigerator KRFC704FBS00. I’ve done site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Tested unit and found RC evaporator completely frosted over and not defrosting. Called tech line and spoke with Kurt. He advised control board was not correct revision, and to replace board. Replaced control board and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time. Homeowner is going to manually defrost unit to ensure uniform temperature on initial cooldown. No leaks found at time of service from water supply or hoses. Advised homeowner on defrost procedure and precautions to take to prevent damage.

Removed compressor, RC evaporator and installed new compressor and updated RC evaporator using braising methods. Vacuumed unit down to -25psi and charged with 5.5oz of R135a refrigerant. Tested unit. Found good frost pattern forming on new evaporator. Advised customer to allow at least 18-24hrs for temperatures to settle. No other issues found. All water connections were dry at the time of service.
