DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL KDTE204DSS0 "Arrived onsite for the dishwasher that is not spraying and making a crunching noise. I checked stored error codes and found F8E1, F3E4, F6E4, & F6E1. The customer had cleaned the filter and the unit started washing correctly. I found the drain pump with debris in it. I removed the pump and found a small piece of glass in the unit. I removed the glass and tested the machine. The unit is working as designed. I advised mr to get a cleaner and run thru the unit to clean up the lime scale and soap scum. Call complete."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the top spray arm is not cleaning the dishes and the unit is making a loud noise. I placed the unit in diagnostics to test. While running in test mode, the unit was making a loud noise that appeared to be coming from the sump/motor assembly. The upper spray arm had lots of debris is in which is keeping it from spraying and it appeared that the middle spray arm was not operating. I removed the accumulator assembly and the inlet protector and found that the chopper assembly was broken. The customer discussed the repair with his wife and they decided to not complete the repair as they will look into purchasing a new unit.job completed."

I turned the power on at the breaker and found that the display was not coming on, but the unit would beep when I pressed a button/key on the UI. I removed the UI to expose the control and terminal block. Using my multimeter, I verified voltage at the terminal block and control. The control is getting voltage but is not responding. I verified continuity to the fuse and door switches. I advised the customer that the control is no longer available, but I could pull the control and have it sent it to get rebuilt. The customer agreed to the repair and paid in full. I removed the control and reinstalled the UI and slid the oven back in its space. I advised the customer that the rebuild would take 7-10 days and the office would schedule return service. ; ordrng 1 8303833 (PULL FOR REBUILD)"

Tested unit and found right rear burner igniter Not mounted to cooktop service preventing proper ignition. Upon trying to remove burner head assembly found Venturi nut welded to orifice holder. As nut started to turn burner assembly turned with it and broke gas supply linethat goes to right rear burner from valve. Gas line Venturi nut, and holder would need to be replaced on the right rear and right front burner assembly’s to complete repairs but parts are no longer available. Office will need to contact home warranty company and advise them to to age parts are not available. I removed and replaced the compressor, non-dye drier and service port, noting that there was little refrigerant within the system and there appeared to be a leak at the factory service stub. After vacuuming the system and monitoring for leaks and charging, I found the unit had irregular pressures anytime the three-way valve assembly would switch to the fc or rc evaps. Test mode 40 and regular operation displayed the same issue. I recovered the unit and verified no restrictions within primary tubing structures and found the issue within the three-way valve. Office to order and schedule for return service. Please allow two hours service. I found some ice crystallizing in the FC and explained to me that this is coming from wet product getting loaded in the FC. I found the chassis to liner sealed and the door gasket sealing correctly. There was no frost around the door, on the rails, or on the evaporator cover. I did find the toe grill not snapping on the left side and causing the door not to close all the way if it fell down.
