"Arrived on site to inspect microwave popcorn settings. Upon further inspection, I found the customer had a small countertop microwave on the counter and were comparing it to their built in microwave. Customer advised that the popcorn setting on their built in unit does not pop all of the kernels and theyre left with basically a half empty bag of popcorn, but when they use the small countertop microwave, it pops the bag of popcorn fully. I advised the customer that the bags of popcorn cook based off the wattage of the microwave and the more wattage there is, the more popcorn will be made. The built in unit only provides approximately 900 watts versus the countertop unit which is providing 1350 watts according to the label, which makes sense that the smaller countertop unit is cooking the popcorn better than the built in unit. I recommended the customer experiment with the times and leave the cooking level at 100% to find how long the built in will take to cook popcorn. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed with no error codes. I made recommendations for use and care and no repairs needed at this time. Job completed."

"WDF331PAHS1 Arrived to inspect drying issue. There were no stored error codes within the service test mode and all functions were present, including the heating system. Discussion with the customer revealed they pre-rinse prior to loading and I encourage that action, but they were using very high-strength detergent pods. I advised this causes excessive foaming, which blocks heat transfer, which adversely affects drying and is a very frequent cause of dishwasher drying issues. The customer was also not utilizing rinse agent and I set the dispenser to the correct setting for their use and advised on how to fill it. I recommend the customer attempt use with a liquid, or powder, automatic dishwasher detergent and to only fill the dispenser cup 1/4, or around one TBSP. Use of the Pre Wash is also not advised, as it can also add to over-detergenting and drying issues. I also advised to run the hot water at the sink until hot, prior to starting the unit. The unit may have been in a safety heater lockout and service mode testing and reset could have cleared it. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

I found evidence of water that had pooled within the dispenser area and then steadily dripped into the drip pan and then onto the outer door and down to the floor area. There were remnants of melted and then re-frozen ice within the ice bucket and the customer advised they did have some power interruptions recently. I explained that power interrupted long enough, can allow the ice within the bin to start melting. This causes water flow into the dispenser area and subsequent dripping within the dispenser area, as experienced. I advised the customer to remove the ice storage bin anytime there is a prolonged power outage in the further. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking from the filter area. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit is not leaking from the filter but leaking at the evaporator. She advised that she had her home warranty company come out for this machine several times and they replaced the compressor. She advised that when they call back that they found the evaporator and that their home warranty would not cover the evaporator replacement. She showed me a photo of what the unit looked like. Took temperature inside the freezer section and found it at 25?F. Did find an ice ball up on the upper right hand corner in the freezer section. Arrived on site for dryer not drying. On inspection I put my meter in to monitor the heat. It went up 265? down to 120? then backup to 265? then back down. I felt the clothes n the washer and they seem to have to much water still in them. I told them to run the drain and spin cycle to extract more water for a week and see if the dryer dries the clothes faster. No water leaks detected during service.

I replaced the high limit cutoff and also the element, element had a coil that was hanging a little low. I removed 1 foot of vent hose as well. I replace the console and tested the dryer and the lights started blinking and it shut off. I found the issue in the right side board of the encoder assembly. I could press on the control and get it to work. It acts like a bad solder joint. I replaced the encoder assembly and tested the dryer. The dryer is working as designed. Call complete.

I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and calibrated the unit then placed back into diagnostics and tested. I could not duplicate the issue and the unit operated as designed. I tilted the unit back and found no gearcase oil on the components but I did find white plastic shavings/dust on the actuator and capacitor. I removed the belt and cam pulley and found the cam teeth were damaged/badly worn. Using a cam from my van stock (W10721967), I removed and replaced the cam and reassembled the unit and re-calibrated. Retested the unit and it operated as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to test unit for door not opening correctly. Found damaged foot pedal. Ordering new foot pedal office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11636605 (Foot pedal)

Arrived onsite for unit not freezing in freezer and warm in fresh food section. Inspected and found freezer evaporator completely covered in ice. Thawed and inspected. Heater is energizing and sensor passed. Replaced Control. If symptoms persist recommend heater and defrost sensor harness . Customer will monitor. Job complete.

Arrived on site to inspect bottom mount refrigerator not cooling. I found the compressor not running. I inspected the back of the unit and found insulation from the back panel caught in the condenser fan causing it not to run. This has caused the compressor to overheat and lock up. I tested the compressor and found 10 amps with no operation from the compressor. I am ordering the compressor to resolve. "Arrived on site for a dryer that has a check vent message appear. Inspected unit and work area. The customer voice of the unit will make it through cycles but that there is an error message that indicates that they need to check the vent. She also explained that the unit is getting really really hot and seems to run longer than normal. Check the vent hose off the back and found proper installation. Ran a vent test kit on the unit and found poor airflow circulation for electric dryers. Took the vent hose off and could not find any debris inside the dryer or vent hose leading to the wall. I asked the customer how long its been since theyve cleaned their events. She buys that they have not cleaned it in the 10 years they have been here. I did advise the customer that either there is a restriction inside of the home. The customer explain that they just had the roof redone and were wondering if they potentially shingled over the dryer vent. Advise customer to have that checked, and if not, to contact a vent cleaning company to clear out the ducts. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance in the shaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised of the unit typically shakes and vibrates heavily on sheets or bulky items. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Found the unit unlevel as the house is uneven and the floors flexing while walking on it. I attempted to level out the washer as best as I could. I ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7737907431. H advised that the flooring and loading was the issue due to all parts functioning as designed. He advised to make no repair at this time as the unit is operating properly. Call complete.
