arrived on site to inspect venthood fan falling. Upon further inspection, I found that when the venthood fan is on high it sucks the filter up into it due to the oil build up the filter. Also, I found that the c-clip it missing from the motor shaft. I did not have one so I went to The Home Depot and purchased some and returned to the home and placed a c-clip on the unit and tested. The unit tested good. I advised the customer that the filter would need to be cleaned and demonstrated the effect it has when the fan is on high with the filter the way it is and then the fan sucks the filter up into it. Also advised the customer that with the oil/grease buildup on the filter, if he has a high flame and the venthood on high, the fan could suck the flame up into the oils on the filter and melt the fan. Advised the customer to purchase a charcoal filter that will last longer. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect washer with error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and error codes 9/1 and 5/4 appeared. I erased the error codes and began diagnostics and during the drain cycle, the unit drained for several minutes before it finally shut off and showed error code 9/1 (long drain) again. I used my wet vac and emptied the remaining water through the drain pump and removed the drain filter and found a large amount of debris wrapped around several Bobbie pins. There was a large amount of rust inside the filter from the pins and I found some broken plastic pieces as well. To keep from having a call back, I removed and replaced the drain pump and tested the unit. Unit operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service and photos were taken of before and after service work. Job completed.

Upon arrival, the customer advised that they use powder detergent and the dishes have residue on them at the end of the cycle. The customer advised that the unit is not heating also. I placed the unit in diagnostics and received error code 7/1, which is for no heating. I cleared the code and continued with diagnostics. Unit operated as designed and I tested the heating element by pouring water on it and it was very hot creating steam. There were no error codes at the end of diagnostics. The customer advised that they had a short power outage a few weeks ago. I advised the customer to use a liquid or liquid gel detergent and to use no more than two teaspoons at a time along with rinse aid, which they are using. Advised the customer that the heating element may have shut off due to the power outage or due to too much detergent use. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect range flame sputtering. Upon further inspection, I turned the back middle burner on and could not recreate the issue . The customer had a video on his phone of what the burner was doing, but again, I could not recreate the issue. I tested the unit several times and it operated as designed. Also, the customer pointed out that the control panel was not attached properly. I could see where, during installation, the control panel had been knocked off the screws that holds it into place on the left side. I adjusted the control panel and it sits flush again. No gas leaks detected during service. Job completed.

Checked error codes and got f4 e3 which is restricted air flow, removed lint filter and ran dryer and is not pulling paper towel to the screen, called whirlpool tech line and talked to Andrew 7722445127, per Andrew at whirlpool tech line for vent hose in the wall if in laundry room wall vent was going straight out the home no bends max length on hardened hose no bends is 64 fees and for every bend reduce length 10 feet, with flex hose if it has sags in it will reduce the output air flow, found from laundry room from floor to ceiling is 8-9 foot and through attic is longer than 40 feet were it is going out the home which is to long for the amount of bends and sags in the flex vent hose, per whirlpool tech line must have hardened vent hose and must find another output for dryer venting, call complete.

I removed and replaced the spark module, valve manifold, wiring harness, left rear Ignitor, and four knobs that were damaged. Before assembling the unit, I checked all gas connections with my liquid all purpose leak detection and I verified no leaks at the regulator and gas line coming into the house. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. Unit operated as designed with no error codes. Customer advised that he uses pods for detergent and I advised to not use them as they produce too many soap suds that can damage the unit. I advised the customer to switch to a liquid or liquid gel and use only two teaspoons at a time and to continue to use rinse aid. I advised the customer to place a cup of vinegar in the top rack and to run a normal cycle to clean the unit from soap debris. Also, I advised the customer that once the unit is done he should hold the cancel button for approximately three seconds to engage the drain pump so that the unit will drain the remaining water from the drain filter area and it won't have as much standing water. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

KRMF706ESS01 (5 Door Refrigerator) - Arrived onsite for customer complaint of 5 door refrigerator not level and high on LH side. Was able to adjust legs and doors. Used level to verify adjustment. Was able to get within center. Advised top of unit is warped. Lowe’s contractor advised that unit needs to be swapped per his receipt. Advised we do no perform swaps. Customer will contact Lowe’s regarding of swaps. Advised this is a cosmetic issue. No mechanical issues found. All water connections were dry at time of service.

Model WTW5000DW0, Arrived on call for washer not washing cloths, found gear case shaft dropped down and stripped out all the teeth on wash plate and top shaft of gear case, will need wash plate, hear case and cam, also checke for error codes and got f5 e1 which is a lid switch fault which was the only error, tested lid lock and is locking and locking as it should not able to get issue to repeat but customer says that intermittently lid would not lock will order main control and lid lock aswell, will need autho. Office to reschedule with customer if autho. Is approved, no water leaks at time of call.

arrived on site to inspect range valve sticking. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the left front valve was sticking in the on position and her husband had to use pliers to turn it off so that it would not leak gas. Upon further inspection, I turned the valve on and it was sticking making it difficult to turn on and off. I removed and replaced the valve and tested the unit and the unit operated as designed. I adjusted the flame to all burners as I found all of them too high in the lowest setting. No gas leaks detected during service...see pics. Job completed.

JFI2089AEP8 (French Door Refrigerator) - Arrived onsite to install reservoir, water valve and slides to French door refrigerator from prior tech’s diagnosis. Removed faulty parts and installed new replacements. Upon door slides, found incorrect part was ordered. Also found door adapter broken as well. Ordering correct door glides and LH/RH adapters. R/S for Tuesday 7/17. All water connections were dry at time of service.
