"Cx stated that she turned off breaker to DW because it kept beeping. When she turned it back on, it stopped beeping and stopped flashing. Ran diagnostics and fault code was cleared. Based upon cx observations it was 8 blinks and cause and 4 blinks. Thus was an f8e4 fault code. Which is an open float switch. Removed toe panel and checked float pan and it had a small input of water but not enough to cause overfill fault. Ran unit and there were no signs of leaks. Ordering float switch assembly. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part on a washing machine model MHW5630HC3. Inspected unit and work area. That replaced the user interface console W11325569 and tested the unit. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator model WRSF5536RB00 that is still making abnormal noises. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she took a video of the sound and showed me a video of what sounded like refrigerant running through the evaporator. In the video, there was a slight gurgling noise and was intermittent, indicating air bubbles creating vibration when entering the evaporator. I ran the unit through diagnostics testing. I was unable to replicate any sounds as all components were running. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Edwin SR# 22066765. He advised me to make no further repairs at this time, as this is normal sound, especially with R600 refrigerators. He advised that the noises do not affect functionality and to let the customer know it will not affect the longevity of the unit either. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. "Arrive on site for a refrigerator model JBRFR30IGX20 that is frosting in the deli drawer. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that around christmas, they had a bunch of people over and had the refrigerator stocked full of food. They advise that the deli drawer froze all of their vegetables and had condesnation on another shelf. They advised that they tried to adjust the temperature, and then she had an issue with her freezer having frost on the shelf, so she changed it back, and it's been working since. I took temperature of the refrigerator section and found it at 37?F. I found no evidence of any defrost issues or frosting inside of either deli drawers. I did advise the customer that the most likely issue would have been with an airflow restriction due to the unit correcting itself. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRS325FDAM04 leaking water from the freezer side and the interior lights are not functioning. Upon further inspection, I found the customer had a towel on the floor in front of the freezer (FC) section. I opened the FC door and found ice at the bottom below the drawer. When I removed the drawer, I found the drain for the evaporator was clogged with ice. Also, when I opened the door, the light failed to turn on. I tested the light switches and found them good. Also found the RC section light not turning on. I pulled the unit out to gain access to the drain tube and removed it. I found the tube clogged with debris and cleaned it out. Re-installed the tube and cleared the ice from the FC section. Tested the drain and it is draining as designed. I removed and replaced the FC module and the upper RC module and tested and the lights are operating as designed. "Arrived on site for unit not cooling properly. Upon arrival, checked with thermocouple and found RC compartment at 45F and UI is set to 37F. FC is at 11F set to 0F. Inspected air dividers are present to the unit. All mechanical parts are running normally. Called techline and spoke with Joe SR#22069136 to run thermistor checks and found Test 1 RC is at 41F, Test 2 FC is at 27F, Test 28 last 6 hours in RC 37F, Test 29 last 6 hours in FC 2F and Test 34 coldest temp in freezer -14F. Suspects freezer thermistor is bad due to showing 27F causing compressor to constantly run to satisfy FC temp. Just as precaution, ordering all parts relating to cooling issue. Weighing call for 3 hours. Ordering W11664342 control, W11567409 Orion board, W11574767 UI, W11318270 FC thermistor and W11724692 RC thermistor. All other sealed system parts already prescreened. I've done site for range with a front right burner.That would not adjust low once it was turned to high. On arrival ran front right burner for 3 minutes and after trying to adjust it to low. I found the burner staying on hot and not adjusting but the part sent for repair were not accurate. "Arrived on site to inspect washer MVW7232HW2 error code. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1-long fill. I cleared the code and continued with testing and found the cold valve not fully opening. I gained access to the inlet valve and removed the water hoses. I found a yellow sandy substance in the cold valve screen and advised the customer of my findings. I found the customer has a water softener system and I recommended that they have it serviced as this issue will only get worse. I replaced the valve assembly and reassembled the unit and calibrated the unit. Retested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11614513"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer WED5010LW1 taking too many cycles to dry the clothing. Upon further inspection, I found ths customer had a load in the dryer and the clothing was damp and there was condensation built up on the dryer door and drum. I verified the vent tube at the back was installed properly and had no kinks. I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and found the heating element is illuminating in the back left vent area (photo). Using my vent test kit, I tested the unit on air dry and found the test failed as poor venting. I advised the customer of my findings and questioned how long they had been in the home and if the vents had ever been cleaned. The customer advised that the vents had not been cleaned and I recommended that they have a professional check/clean them as it's a fire hazard and should be cleaned once per year. Unit is operating as designed and no lint observed within the unit, job completed."

Arrived on site for start button not working. Upon arrival ran diagnostics found f2 e1 error control failure. Tried running normal cycle but start button not working. Replaced control and tested unit started button now working. Customer informed me unit turns on sometimes on its own recommended replacing latch but customer doesn't think issue with unit is the latch and just wanted control replaced. Arrived on site for bottom oven bake not heating up at all. Inspected unit found in fact bottom bottom not working. When trying to pull unit out was unable to get unit out customer even asked me to stop. Ordering a 2 man job for this service call. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator JF42NXFXDE02 no cool. Upon further inspection, ths customer advised that the day after the sealed system was completed, the unit stopped cooling. I placed my gauges on the sealed system and found that the compressor was pulling into a vacuum and the high side was as well. I turned the unit off and pressures didn't change. Using my black light, I inspected the sealed system tubing and found dye on the suction line and oil mixed with it (photos). Using my liquid leak detector, I tested the area for leaks and found no bubbles and i could hear gurgling within the system. I called techline and spoke to Lakey and advised of the complaint and my findings. Lakey sent me a text to my phone and I provided photos of my findings. I also advised that I could hear a gurgling in the system and that I found oil in the dye. Lakey recommended replacing the suction line and provided Case #22071119. I advised the customer of my findings and conversation with techline and provided photos of my findings. I am ordering the suction line, compressor and CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB and will return with all prescreened parts. Office to schedule return service and the unit was left turned off for safety. Asked customer if she used dryer sheets; she said yes and confirmed she cleaned moisture bars with alcohol pad. Advised customer not to mix loads (e.g., man-made fabrics with cottons/linens), as this affects dry times. Also, eco boost can stop the dryer mid-cyclerestart and turn it off. Wrinkle guard was on, causing post-cycle runs to prevent clothes wrinkling.advised cx to clean moisture bar with rubbing alcohol every couple months to remove wax buildup from dryer sheets. Checked oven cavity and found a drip mat on the bottom, blocking the vents and preventing proper heat circulation. Removed the drip mat; oven reached temperature. "Arrived onsite for unit turning on by itself. Customer stated it beeps and drains. I found water in the drip pan lifting the float. Ran the unit 5 times and found no leaks from the unit itself however, I did find the waterline have a slow drip causing water to fill in the pan slowly. I advised customer to get a new waterline as it is considered a accessory item. Customer understands. Call complete. No parts installed."

Arrived onsite for microwave not heating. Customer stated he didn't a hard reset by leaving the breaker off for an hour and the microwave worked but returned to same state soon after. I checked codes and only found a F6E7 ACU communication error. Tried doing a reset for 5 minutes and issue still present. All other functions work besides the microwave option. "Arrived onsite for cooling issues. I found the evaporator frosted up and the cover aswell. Went over testing with PR and tested the defrost heater voltage. Found the heater recieving correct voltage but not heating, for repair i will need W11546981 Defrost heater and W11758890 Fan harness. Office to RS as harness is oos but customer also needs to defrost, I advised to put towels down and sign the water waiver, customer agreed.; ordrng 1 W11546981 (Defrost heater) and 1 W11758890 (Fan HRNS)"

Arrived onsite for unit not draining. I found the drain pump to hum but no water coming through. Drain pump is good. When speaking with the customer she informed me that they got a new disposal when they moved in. I checked the disposal and found the knockout present. I removed the knockout and unit now drains and operates as designed with no leaks. Call complete. No parts installed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dryer not heating. Verified incoming voltage at the terminal block and confirmed proper voltage supply. Disassembled unit by removing the front panel and drum to access the heating components. Inspected thermal fuse, thermostats, and heating element and found the heating element open/broken. Replaced the heating element and reassembled the unit. Tested dryer on a heat cycle and confirmed proper heating operation. Unit is now heating as designed. Job complete."

Checked water supply, inlet screen, and electrical to the fill valve and confirmed the fill valve was faulty and not opening fully. Replaced the defective fill valve and reassembled the unit. Ran a complete test cycle and verified proper water fill, normal spray action, and correct operation. Inspected unit during and after testingno leaks present at this time. Job complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose range oven with convection fan making a loud noise during operation. Ran the unit in convection mode and confirmed the noise was present. Inspected the convection system and found the convection fan was contacting the heating element due to a loose element. Secured and properly repositioned the heating element to prevent interference with the fan. Reassembled the unit and ran a convection test cycle. Preheated oven to 400?F and verified the convection fan operated smoothly with no abnormal noise. Unit is now operating as designed. Job complete.

Arrived insite for unit not igniting. I found the oven to start a flame but cutoff right after ignition. I checked the harness to the igniter and found it good on continuity and resistance. I replaced the Spark Module WPW10475149 and tested unit. Unit now ignites and holds flame as designed. Unit operates as designed with no leaks present. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite MED6630HC2 for unit poor drying. Found dryer vent booster had been installed with auxiliary lint trap box. Done correctly. However temps reading indicated very poor airflow. Temperature was slow to climb after initial heat because the cycling thermostat would not cool. Temp in the drum cavity hung and did not drop during the heat off cycle. Discovered very fine pest mesh had been installed on the roof duct exit. Advised that this may be the cause of the airflow restriction. See pic. Advised best practice is no mesh, customer may try chicken wire as compromise. No parts."

"MHW5630HC3. Customer stated that the washing machine leaks sometimes, with water pooling underneath in front. Diagnostics found no fault codes. Ran component tests and filled tub all the way with water, then agitated; could not find any source of leaking. Drained unit; drained out fine, no issues with drain, leaking, or standpipe overflowing. Asked customer what type of load she was washing when it leaked; she said it only happens on large loads with towels or heavy loads. Checked bellows; bellows is fine, no tears. Did notice human hair as well as dog hair on the glass and bellows. Advised customer that when doing heavy loads or any load, to make sure there is no hair and no buildup of debris on the glass. This can cause separation between the glass and the bellows, especially during heavy loads where it pushes against the glass, which can cause it to seep and leak water down the front of the machine and onto the floor. Unit is working as intended. No leaks detected at time of service. NO WATER LEAKS OBSERVED DURING SERVICE"

Provided detailed explanation of cleaning procedures and advised that frequency of bleach maintenance is important to kill mildew and for abatement. Door boot is fine and not the cause of failure. Advised tenant on findings and that if maintenance procedures using washer cleaning cycle and bleach maintenance does not resolve, there is not a technical repair option.
