Spoke with tech line Steve Who commented there are no service pointers for this issue, said customer could call back when it is happening again. Or a data logger could be used to see if temperature around water line coil is freezing. When asked what could be done if water line is freezing no solution was recommended. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when they were using the unit the display began to jump back to the temp selection and scrolling on its own and when they pressed the off selection, the display would go back to the temp selection again. I cycled the power at the breaker and placed it in diagnostics showing no error codes. I tested all components and all operated as designed. The unit is not connected to WiFi. I recommended that the customer contact the Whirlpool Connect Team 866-333-4591 and allow them to assist in connecting to WiFi and walk them through the update on the software. Arrived onsite for the refrigerator making a humming noise. I ran diagnostics and found all functions of the refrigerator working as designed and all sounded normal. I did find the FC packed with product and blocking the airflow. The coil was not frosted up at this time but I suspect that this could have been causing it to frost up and get to the fan before it went into a defrost. I explained the airflow issue to the customer and they are going to correct the way the frozen product is in the FC. Call complete.

The dispenser chute is getting packed with frost because the ice door flapper is sticking half way open at times and leaking warm air into the unit. The flapper parts will need to be replaced. I cannot locate a model and serial number tag on the unit. The model that we were given is not correct. The closest models to what we were given are ZISB480DKB & ZISB480DKC and both pull up different dispenser parts.
