WASHER MAYTAG MVWC360AW0 "Arrived onsite for the washer that is stuck in sensing mode, not filling with water at all or advancing in the cycle. Mr stated it was a different problem than before and the unit was staying in sensing then the lid lock would start flashing. I tested the lock switch solenoid, the lock switch, and the lid switch. All test were within specifications. I checked stored error codes and found an F7E1 again. I went to spin the basket and found it lightly stuck but once I freed it it spun good. I ran the auto cycle and the unit worked as designed. I ran manual diagnostics and switched back and forth from agitate to spin multiple times but can not duplicate the problem. The splutch and the actuator are working as designed. I told mr to try it again to see if it is going to fail. Call complete."

WASHER MAYTAG MVWB835DC3 "arrived on site to inspect washer making loud noise. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is making a loud “cat screaming” noise. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes at the beginning. The unit ran through diagnostics and operated as designed. I placed the unit in manual test mode and tested the high agitation and high spin and immediately I could hear the noise in high spin. I stopped manual test mode and unplugged the unit and tilted the unit back to find oil debris on the side panels and on the drains pump. I removed the rotor and found oil debris inside the rotor. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that the gearcase and clutch would need to be replaced. I removed and replaced the gearcase and clutch and put the unit back together and calibrated the unit. After calibrating, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and it operated as designed with no error codes. I tested the unit in manual

I found the venthood assembly would require substantial repair, requiring all switches, wiring harness and lift motor assembly. Further, the venting assembly was contaminated severely with mold and I could not assure the customer of complete removal. The customer elected to have the unit replaced and requested replacement information. The unit is a 30 inch version and subsequent models of the same width should be fully compatible with the counter’s existing cutout, but should be confirmed with a dealership.

DRYER MAYTAG MEDC215EW1 "arrived on site to inspect dryer timer making loud noise after cycle completed. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit on and then advanced the timer to the off position and it made the normal timing sound. However, after approximately ten minutes, the timer continued to time down and was trying to advance to the next cycle. Using my multimeter, I ohmed the timer between the B and C connectors (light blue and black wires) and had the timer in the off position and the unit showed to be open. Prior to the service call, the customer had contacted Maytag and was able to get them to cover today’s service call including parts/labor. I contacted the office to verify and CW verified for me. I removed and replaced the timer and tested it and it operated as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDF520PADM7 "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, I opened the unit door and found no water in the bottom of the tub. The customer advised that he disconnected the drain hose from the drain pump and water went everywhere. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes at the beginning. The unit operated as designed until it got to the drain mode and the unit did not drain. Using my wet vac, I emptied the water from the unit. I removed the drain pump and found one of the impellers broken off. I replaced the drain pump and tested the unit again and again, the unit did not drain. I looked inside the sink drain and found a long metal object w the drain port coming from the dishwasher drain hose. I removed the object and pressed the cancel button on the unit to engage the drain pump and a little water came out. I got the remaining water out with my vacuum and removed the unit from its space and removed the drain

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the stop on the top rack had come off and he attempted to put it back on, but it kept coming off. I found that the right stop for the top rack was missing and the customer did not have it anymore. I had a stop (WPW10082861) in my van stock so I installed it and tested the unit. REFRIGERATOR JENN-AIR JFI2589AEP Arrived onsite for the refrigerator not cooling properly in the FC. I found the FC at -1 degrees when set at 0 degrees and the RC at 37 degrees when set at 37 degrees. I ran service test 101 and the bimetal thermostat showed closed. I ran a forced defrost to check the defrost circuit and found the defrost heater working as designed. After the forced defrost cycle completed I ran service test 101 again and the bimetal showed open. The display showed 25 degrees in the FC at this time and the alarm started beeping. I found the compressor not starting and the overload tripping. I tested the compressor windings and the capacitor. Both tested good. Need to replace the start device. Ordering WPW10197428 START-DEV. RS for Mon 12/3.; ordrng 1 WPW10197428 (START-DEV)

WASHER MAYTAG MVWB755DW0 "arrived on site to inspect washer stopping in middle,of cycle. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit attempted to show error codes, but flashed F7 and then went straight into test mode. I tested the unit and it filled and drained and when it was to agitate and spin, the unit stopped. I unplugged the unit and tilted the back to be able to look under the unit. I found large amounts of oil debris on the rotor and all panels of the unit. I removed the rotor and found a large amount of debris inside the rotor and on the stator/clutch. Also found that the clutch connection and stator connection was unplugged. I reconnected them and tested the unit again and it still stopped before agitation and spin all the time I could hear the unit attempting to engage the motor. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Tested unit and found cover grid not fully plugged in at Molex connector. This was causing ice to back up on the cutter grid and pump to run dry. Rewired cutter grid and verified proper operation of all components of machine. All is working properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service. Unit is covered under manufacturer warranty until March 2019 and no charges were do from homeowner four trip today.
