"Arrived onsite for a washer with a water leak coning from the bottom. The customer stated the unit will start leaking when it goes into a drain. I checked stored error codes and found an F8E3, F6E3, F5E4, & F0E1. I ran diagnostics and the unit completed the cycle and worked as designed with no leaks. I ran a quick wash with towels and found the leak at the back left corner. I pulled the unit out and removed the back cover and found the leak coming from the pipe ventilation assembly. The seal between it and the tub was leaking at the bottom.

"MVWB835DW3 Arrived to complete service. I removed and replaced the failed gear case and rotor. I re-calibrated the control and tested within automatic and manual modes. The unit resumed normal operation and no leaks were observed during service.

Arrived onsite for a wall oven not heating. The customer stated it heated one time and reached 140 degrees and then stopped heating. I found the oven turning on and could hear the control cycling between the elements but the unit was not heating at all. I checked the circuit breaker and it does not appear to be tripped. I pulled the oven out and showed the customer that they were loosing L2 at the wall. From L1 to L2 I had 100VAC . From L1 to ground and neutral I had 122VAC. From L2 to ground and neutral I had 0VAC.

I checked the breaker and found it to be a GFCI breaker and it was tripped. I attempted to cycle the power and the breaker would not cycle. After several attempts I was finally able to get the breaker to hold and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. I reattached the vent tube for the customer. . Found that if only one element is cycling at a time there is no issue. The unit is connected to GFCI breaker. The GFCI is being triggered and cannot carry the load. I was going to plug the unit into the outlet where the disposal is plugged into when I found there is a switch for the dishwasher next to the disposal switch and it was in the off position. Turned the switch in the on position and the dishwasher came on. I tested the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and the unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop humming noises. Upon further inspection, the customer placed a pot of water on the cooktop and turned it up to 6 and the element began to make the normal electrical humming noise. I explained that the noise is normal and the lower temp will result in a lower humming sound and the high the temp the louder the humming noise will get. I provided the wording from page 12 of the owners manual explaining the humming noise. No repairs needed at the time, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit on to test and immediately the unit began to make a high pitched squealing noise. I disassembled the unit and found the back right roller inner shaft had rust built up on it due to hair and other debris built up on the roller shaft. I attempted to clean the roller, but it continued to fail. I replaced the roller with one from my van stock (4581EL2002C) and cleaned the remaining rollers and shafts and reassembled the unit. Retested and the unit is operating as designed. Being as the rollers were replaced within one year, they are still covered under the 1 year AEX warranty. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for oven with a burning smell. On inspection the oven has not been used very much. Informed the customer that you need to burn the oil off the unit before the smell goes away. I turn the oven to 475? for 1 hour. The smell has lessened but still faintly smell it. Told the customer to put a pan of water with spices in it and let it vaporize in the oven to help get rid of the smell.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator door handle loose. On inspection 1 set screw was missing out of the handle. Replaced the handle and tested unit. The door opens as designed and no water leaks detected during inspection.

Arrived on site to diagnose washer throwing F7E1 error. Tested unit and heard a loud buzzing under the unit. Checked and found capacitor leaking fluid and dripping. Replaced capacitor. Retested unit and verified proper spinning and function. Repair completed.

"WED5050LW0 Arrived to inspect no power. Upon arrival, I found the unit had started working again, but the customer advised me that it had gone out for approximately one week. I tested all connections, supply voltages and corrected terminal wiring issues. Voltage was steady through all tests and I also checked all other connects within the unit. During testing, I found the airflow appeared to be somewhat restricted and advised the customer they should have the venting cleaned. Operational test good."

"MED6200KW0 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Prior to part replacement, I inspected the unit. I immediately found the front drum bearing dislodged, canting the drum off-center. I corrected the issue and then found the drum would drag on something within the chassis. Inspection revealed the front motor mounting clip was reversed and the motor was semi-loose, allowing the torque from drum rotation to rotate the motor frame within the mount, causing it to rub on the drum. I corrected the motor mounting position and clip issue and tested. The unit operated the rotational system as designed, but testing heating showed a very slight temperature rise, only in the first few seconds of operation. I removed the back cover and found the thermistor on the air plenum was not connected on one leg. Correcting the issue and re-testing, I found all functions had returned and the unit heated and cycled as designed, with a very good heat-to-cool timing ration, indication good airflow. No parts required."

"WDT970SAHZ0 Arrived to inspect leak. F2E1, which is an unknown error and likely from testing and /or installation. Proceeding with inspection, I found the drivetrain within the spray arm felt too loose and due to having a replacement, elected to disassemble and check. The slide valve had popped out of the gear train, causing intermittent binding of the slide valve and likely stalling of the arm. Due to the erratic nature of the leak, it is likely that there were only certain positions the arm would stop within and during the cycle, the position was randomly hit, causing the leak. I removed and replaced the spray arm assembly and tested. The issue appeared corrected and the customer will monitor and contact if there are further issues. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for cooktop center burner having issues. On inspection the center burner goes out when going between high and simmer. Tested unit and verified all working as designed, cooling present. Repair completed."

"KRMF706ESS01 Arrived to inspect ice dispensing issue. I found the issue was actually with water not being dispensed and the ice worked as designed, notably with a full bin and the appearance of good production. I found the water dispenser solenoid would not actuate and testing at the solenoid, there was no voltage being sent. I traced voltage to the control and it was absent there as well. Inspection of the UI revealed the connector seated, but when disconnecting and reconnecting, the issue was resolved and through multiple tests. The chassis required squaring and setup and after performed, the unit was up to standard. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling correctly. I checked the frost patterns on both evaporators and both were not frosting correctly. I checked the entire system and all the lokrings and welds for dye finding none anywhere. I found a faint trace of what looked like dye in the condenser drain pan but both evaporators and both drip pans along with the drain tube were completely clean. I could hear the refrigerant spitting and sometimes the flow into the evaporators would stop. I put the unit in service test 4 and hooked my gauges up. I found the compressor working properly pulling down into a deep vacuum in step 3. In step 4 my pressure on the low side started in an 8 psi vacuum and my high side was at 75 but after a few seconds I could hear the refrigerant flow start spitting and the low side went into a deeper vacuum and the high side went up to 95 psi. When it switched to the FC in step 5 it did the same thing. I dumped the charge and vacuumed the system for 45 minutes the stopped the pump and watched my gauges for 15 more minutes and they never moved. I charged the system with 65 grams of R600 and ran test 4 again. The pressures were good and the refrigerant was flowing properly the entire time. Both evaporators were developing full frost patterns and the unit was cooling properly. Call complete.

Upon trying to remove the RC evaporator cover I found out the unit had a defrost issue and the coil was packed in frost and ice. I defrost the coil with my steamer and made sure the drain was clear. I tested the defrost element and found it good. I replaced the evaporator cover and main control. I turned the water on and tested the dispenser finding the leak the customer experienced coming from a cracked dual valve. I took a photo. I explained to the customer that the cooling issue should be resolved but the valve had to be ordered. I turned the icemaker off and turned the water off at the wall. Removed ice build up ran service test 4 and applied bubble solution and monitored. Found when bubble solution applicator pushed into cabinet where suction tube and cap tube enter bubble would form. Slightly moved cap tube and obvious hissing present. Took video of leak and sent to whirlpool. Unit sent for review for refrigerant leak within cabinet. SR#7736143358

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that was tripping breaker after install. On arrival found breaker was tripped. Breaker would not reset. I disconnected the power cable for the dishwasher and still could not reset the breaker. Advised customer they need to have that breaker replaced, it feels broken mechanically. Once they have a new breaker the unit should work correctly. Repair completed."

Arrived on site for top oven takes to long to preheat. Upon arrival test unit and broil element on upper oven is not energizing. Pulled oven from wall and removed rear panel for inspection. Found left end of element fractured at terminal. Taped off harness to prevent causing a short. Need to order broil element for upper oven. Office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11617232 (Broil element)

"Arrived on site to diagnose wall oven that is not turning off properly. Spoke with customer who clarified that they feel the unit may not actually be shutting off when they cancel / power off the cycle. Checked for error codes and found none present. Customer said they can hear the fan running for an extended period of time after cycles are off. I checked a bake cycle and found it is canceling properly. I let the customer know that the fan running for an extended period of time is normal to cool off the chassis. I advised if the console is unresponsive that the customer needs to power cycle from the breaker, per service pointer. Customer can also use a hanging thermometer to confirm temp is dropping. Repair completed."

Arrived on site for dryer making strange noise when starting up. Found blower wheel slipping when first starting . Tried tightening it down but still slipping . Ordering wheel and motor . Call to set return ; ordrng 1 W11492434 (Motor) and 1 697772 (Blower wheel)

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with the lights not working and the control will not light up and the door switch is broken. I replaced the door switch and the control and the lights are working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for cooking burners not igniting. On inspection the flames were ignited on half the burners. I pulled the regulator and changed from propane to natural gas setting. The unit is working as designed and no gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for a washer that will throw a f6ee error code. Upon inspection I found that the unit did have the code. Which is a communication error between the control and ui. I replaced both and tested unit in quick wash and drain and spin and found unit operating as designed no leaks. Job complete

Arrived onsite for a dryer that will not turning on. Upon arrival the machine man and I found that there were loose aggressive dogs in the apartment. The customer was not home. We attempted several times to contact the customer at several different numbers found that no one answered. I am leaving it up to the apartment complex to coordinate with the customer a time when they can be home to secure the dogs so that we can work on the unit.. apartment complex to contact us to reschedule visit

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a noisy ice maker, upon inspection I found that there was no noise coming fro the ice maker except for the ice dropping into the ice bucket, there was no chatter coming from the water inlet valve when the ice maker filled with water. I waited till the compressor kicked on and began moving the refrigerant through the cap tube and heated vibration/browning noise the it goes way l adjusted the mastic tap/sound deadening tape to cover the joints of the cap tube better but did the noise did not get better but the unit is in no danger of failing because of this. I advised the customer/ apartment manager off this."

Arrived on site to install parts previous tech ordered. Installed new icemaker and tested. Unit is now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Advised customer to allow 24hrs for ice production. Job completed.
