While disassembling the unit I found a small metal rod ( photo in quick pics) and some loose change that was stopping the units wash plate from engaging properly. I reassembled the unit, tested it and the unit passed the service mode tests without giving the OL code. The unit does not need a bearing kit at this time. All water lines were dry at the time of service. Job complete."

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL GB2FHDXWQ07 Arrived onsite for the refrigerator with ice build up in the back of the FC. When I arrived there was no ice build up on the evaporator cover or anywhere in the FC. Ms stated that she had unplugged the unit for 48 hours to defrost the unit a few days prior to my arrival. I found both compartments at temp when I arrived. I checked the defrost circuit and all checked good. I checked the drain pan and there was no water in it. I removed the drain tube and found it restricted with debris. Ms stated there was ice build up in the bottom of the FC and this explains why. All other functions are working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

I cleared the codes and continued with testing. During testing, I found that the motor did not run (F4E3). At the end of diagnostics, using s cup of water, I poured it on the element and found that it sizzled. I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly and tested again. The unit operated as designed. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW5000DW1 Arrived onsite for the washer that does not get the clothes wet in the wash cycle and the lid does not lock in the wash cycle. I tested the washer with ms with the unit loaded with a load of blankets and towels. I bypassed the lid switch and left the lid open so ms could see what the clothes do during agitate and explained how they move across the wash plate to clean the clothes. Ms stated that the use and guide manual stated the unit should lock in the wash cycle and the Home Depot rep stated it should lock in the wash cycle. I explained to ms that on the new machines the unit will not lock until it gets to the rinse and spin cycle but I explained that I would call techline to verify this. I called techline and spoke with Dustin about the lid lock. File# 7723384371. Dustin said that I was correct and it locks when it gets to the rinse and spin cycle. I went over all the selections on the washer and explained what happens in each selection with ms. The unit

I found the dispenser working at this time but the water was at almost a freezing temperature. I found the diffuser not closing in test three causing food to freeze in the RC and suspect this is causing the water lines at the filter housing to freeze up. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRV986FDEM01 "Arrived on site and tested operation. Found temp in freezer set to -5 but only getting down to 21 degrees. Found fresh food set at 33 and found to be at 35. Ran test 4 to test fans and sealed system. Found that rc compartment is functioning properly and fc compartment will begin to develop a frost patterns and then it recedes back to cap tube. Found that the compressor was not ramping up to high speed during testing and installed a new control. Compressor now ramps up but no change in frost pattern. Unit has indication of a weak compressor or low charge as customer has stated that the unit began to lose efficiency with in a few days of installation. I will need compressor, uv drier, process stub and fresh food evaporator upon return visit. Inspected unit and found inlet valve mounting bracket was broken and connector was pulled. Found no loop in drain line and unit was possibly getting back flow water. Upon further inspection, using my thermalcouple, I placed my thermal lead at the middle of the center rack to test temps. I pressed Bake at 350 and pressed start. While testing, I felt the vent to verify it was venting correctly and it was. At the 350 beep (Preheat Standard multi rack) my temp reading was 360. The vent continued to work as designed. The air coming out was appropriate. I advised the customer that the unit vents from the bottom and will continue to vent until the unit cools down. I advised that the drawer and it’s contents may get hot to the touch due to the venting airflow. I provided tips for use and care for the unit. Job completed."

COOKTOP WHIRLPOOL WCG55US0HS00 "arrived on site to inspect cooktop flames height. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is not heating the food properly. I tested all four burners and all four flames were the appropriate height. The customer advised that they had some soup that boiled over and they feared that it leaked inside the unit. Using my boards, I lifted the unit from its place and sat it on the boards so I could remove the top. Once I remove the top, I found a large amount of debris is the bottom of the unit and in the back left burner. I cleaned the back burner and the customer cleaned up the bottom. I placed the unit back into its place in the countertop and tested the burners again. All four burners operated as designed. I did adjust the front left simmer burner due to the flame being a little too high. No gas leaks observed during service, job completed."
