Arrived on site for no operation. The unit actually instantly turns on the drain pump when you first plug the unit in thinking that it is full of water but it has no water in it. When I remove the pressure hose from the control board which should stop the drain pump, the drain pump continues to run indicating it failed control. The drain pump is also noisy. So I am ordering a control and a pop and will need office to reschedule due to availability.

Using my thermalcouple, I verified ohms at the fuse, element, cutoffs. Also using my thermalcouple, i tested the heat from the unit and it heated properly. I found that the main control board mount was not mounted correctly so I corrected it and mounted it properly. No lint observed during service, job completed.

arrived on site to inspect washer making grinding noise during spin cycle. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. No error codes appeared so I continued with testing. During agitation, the unit made a screeching noise, but other than that, the unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end of testing. I removed the washplate and hub ad inspected both and both looked good. I removed the cam and inspected it and found that it was worn and possibly slipping causing the screeching noise. I replaced the cam with a new one and tested the unit extensively on gentle agitation and heavy agitation with ad without water in the tub and the unit did not make any screeching noises. The unit operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.

Upon further inspection, I found that the unit has been used in a long time as it was completely dry and there was no water in the drain hose or drain reservoir. Before I placed the unit in diagnostics, I disconnected the drain hose from the disposal and found that the plug in the disposal had not been knocked out which is causing the dishwasher to not be able to drain. I knocked the plug out and reconnected the drain hose to the disposal and placed the unit in diagnostics. No error codes showed so I continued with testing. Found drain tubing in house is clogged causing water to back up and leak on the floor. Advised customer of issues. He will have plumber look over and take care of issues. No other issues found. All water connections were dry at time of service.
