"Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise that he has several temperature devices in his refrigerator and that at one point, the refrigerator got up to 49?F before the unit started cooling. He advised that he changed the temperatures on the user interface and that that has seemingly been helping but he has been noticing temperature fluctuations within the unit and just wanted to have it checked. I found the unit set to -3?F in the freezer and 35?F for the refrigerator. I checked temperatures and found the freezer at -3?F and the refrigerator at 34?F. Found all fans working an operating as designed. Found no evidence of any defrost issues inside of the unit. I did advise the customer that temperature dials only check air temperature and do not check product temperature. I did advise that I cannot determine exactly why the temperatures reached that height, but did inform the customer that the unit does go through temperature fluctuations as does any other refrigerator. I advised him that what hes looking for is product temperature as the product temperature will never get as cold or as hot as the air temperature can get. I asked the customer if hes had any issues with keeping his food properly refrigerated or frozen. He advised that he has not lost any food, but just wanted to make sure that everything was working properly. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a wall oven that is turning off intermittently when the unit is baking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it does not always happen when she is cooking, but that the unit will have a hard time registering the customers commands, and sometimes will power cycle . She visor its only happened three or four times since she bought it but she is having to restart her baking cycles when this happens. I did confirm that the customer was hooked up to Wi-Fi. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no store error codes. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rich SR# 7738311587. He advised that this issue is most common with the user interface not going through the necessary updates. He asked if the customer has excepted all the updates that have been sent to her phone. The customer advised that she has not been getting any notifications that she needs updates on her wall oven. he advised that if the customer is not getting those notifications, she will need to allow notifications from the app to allow those updates to occur. He advised to go ahead and replace the user interface due to the non-touch issue, but advise the customer to call the Wi-Fi care team, if problems persist after that so they can help her get everything set up properly. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher that wont close. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they had checked on. The inside of the dishwasher couldnt figure out why the dishwasher wouldnt close and that her daughter came over last night and messed around with it. She said that since then, the dishwasher door has been able to open and close without an issue and she just wanted to have it checked out. I did confirm that the dishwasher door was opening and closing as designed. I asked the customer what exactly had been happening prior to, and she advised that the dishwasher door was hitting the side of the cabinet and then you had to push it up and in. I did explain to the customer that that sounded Like their dishwasher may have been unlevel and that was probably causing the door to hit the side and potentially have problems closing. I did show the customer how to adjust the feet in order to square out the dishwasher door with the frame. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."

On further inspection there was bumps by the capillary tube (see pic)The unit might need a SS. Customer is going to give it 24 hrs to re freeze the ice cream and if not frozen she will call back. Had the meter in the fc for 15 minutes once the thermistor was replaced an only got to 29?.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not working. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that things started breaking down when they moved in but it has been getting worse and worse. She advised that the unit was having a hard time closing, and that several parts were broken inside. She advised that she had continued to try to use the machine, but that the machine was giving off a burning odor. I found the doorhandle missing from the door, and the customer advised that she had it, but that it wasnt staying on. Found the left hand hinge completely bent. Found the upper rack had lost several pieces to hold it in place and multiple items stuck underneath the heater, causing the burning smell. I also found part of the door gasket and spray arms broken. I found that the strike was missing and damage done to the tub. I spoke with claims, and was advised that multiple of these issues could only have been caused due to customer damage. I was advised that their extended warranty would not cover the repair due to extensive damage done to the machine. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not agitating. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and when the unit got to agitate the unit shut down. I placed the unit back into diagnostics and manually drained the unit and then manually tested the spin cycle at which time the unit shut down again. I tilted the unit back and inspected underneath and all appeared to be good. I tested the actuator/shifter and found it out of range. Tested the control and found it not sending voltage to the actuator. I removed and replaced the actuator and main control and calibrated the unit. Retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the FC evap cover engulfed in ice/frost. I disassembled the FC section and removed the evap cover and removed the frost from the top section of the evaporator and found the thermistor not in the correct position (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the unit and found the defrost thermistor showing to be shorted. I tested the defrost element and its getting 125V and heating properly. I removed the remaining ice/frost and removed and replaced the thermistor and secured it to the cap tube line with foil tape and a ziptie (photo). I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. Recommended allowing the unit to cool for at least 24 hours before placing food items back inside. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, I found the outer door panel is dented at the bottom left corner and the top right corner at the control panel that appears happened when installing the unit. Also found the control panel is damaged at the far right edge (photos) due to the door panel being damaged. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E2-motor failure. I found where the mounting screws are screwed into the cabinets on both sides there is damage to the cabinets (photos). Also found damage to the cabinets on the left side near the bottom of the unit (photo). I carefully pulled the unit out and removed and replaced the sump assembly and carefully re-installed the unit and pushed it back far enough into the cabinets to where the cabinet drawer to the left of the unit could open/close without hitting the unit handle. I tested the unit and found it operating as designed with no water leaks. With the unit being within the 30 cosmetic warranty, I am ordering the outer door panel and will return with all prescreened parts (console) and office to schedule return service. Returning tech will need to replace the outer door panel and control panel to complete repairs on the unit. No water leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making noise during agitation. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Around the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed with no abnormal sounds present. I tested the unit and manual agitation, and could not get the unit to make the noise. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rich SR# 7738303620. The customer had started a cycle with bulky loads, and I was able to show Rich the sound coming from the machine. It sounded like a very loud popping sound. He had me do various testing, and advised that due to it only happening on agitation and there not being any residue in the cam that it would eliminate the actuator not shifting properly and the issue would have to be up top on the agitator since the noise is most present during heavier loads. He advised to replace the agitator and call back if any other issues persist. Ordering the agitator and rescheduled the customer to 1/30.; ordrng 1 285565 (Agitator)"

Questioned the customer regarding water filter replacement and they have not replaced the filter since purchasing the unit (approximately 9 months). "Arrived on site for a microwave. That is intermittently not working. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that nine times out of 10, the microwave will not work and that they are having to slam the door closed several times in order to get the microwave to start. She advised that when it does start, it will continue and finish out the cycle. I tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. I found a service pointer addressing this issue and tested the door switches. Found that when pushing in on the left-hand side of the door, the microwave would start and operate every time. Per the service pointer, it said it would be an issue with the door switch or the door. I checked the door switch and found it working and operating as designed. I checked the door and did not find any abnormalities with the door. I tighten the screws that hold in the door switch up on the top and still found the issue present. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Chris SR# 7738300197. He advised to pull the unit out a few inches and see if the door would shut properly to illuminate an issue with the installation. I did pull it out and tested it not installed and still had the same issue. He advised to go ahead and replace the hinges and the door together. He advised that if that didnt work, the issue would have to be with the frame which they cannot fix. Ordering parts and the office will need to contact the customer about a reschedule date due an out of stock and PSP item. Arrived on site for gas leak. Turned gas on and sprayed soap bubbles and was unable to get any leaks from the gas lines. Unit is just hanging on the counter top. Cannot pull out to remove front panel and individually check each valve without damaging the countertop. needs proper installation. All burners on and still not getting any bubbles. Called safety advised no leaks found. 7738283117

"Arrived on site to test unit for no ice production, customer stated that water lines have been checked and there is water coming out from wall, tested unit found valve activating but no water, inspected water line and found water shut off, turned water on and tested, water is flowing now but when activating water dispenser ice maker fills as well causing it to flow over, will need to replace inlet valve and dual valve, also condensation is building up on freezer gasket, causing it to mold, will need to install foam insulation strips to build up gasket for better seal , ordering valves and foam strips, rescheduling for 1/31; ordrng 1 W11482025 (Inlet water valve) and 3 W11159728 (Foam strips)s"

Arrived on site refrigerator working at time of visit.

Arrived on site to test unit for damaged filters. Found both filters damaged. Replaced both filters test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site for no water or ice. Found frozen water tank due to air leaking out between fan scroll and air tower,defrosted tank and fill tube,added sealer to gaps between fan scroll and air tower ran diagnostics tested icemaker fill passed tested water dispenser passed."

"Arrived on site to test unit for running to hot, customer stated that it take longer to dry and there is a loud rattle noise, ran vent test and found that vent is restricted disassembled unit and found and found motor and blower housing vibrating against cabinet and heating element causing excessive vibration noise replaced heater and installed sound pads from job 402407, noise is now gone unit is running as designed and customer will hire vent cleaners to remove restriction, at this time job complete"

Arrived on site for washer staying locked . Still found lots of suds . Started filled and drained washer several times . Unit started to flush out . Instructed on cleaning cycle . Left unit running clean cycle. No water leaks detected at time of service job complete

Arrived on site for washer not latching and starting . Found strike on lid broken .replaced strike . Ran diagnostics. All checked normal. No water leaks detected at time of service.job complete

KOCE500ESS23 Arrived to inspect door damage. I found the sides of the oven door were pushed in and I removed and replaced. The unit door issue was resolved and the replacement operated as designed.

"WFE505W0JZ3 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the harness, control and element screws. The unit regained all normal functions and heated and cycled as expected."

Arrived on site to test unit for door falling. Test unit and found left hing hook had come off. Secured hook to hinge test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site for burner flames being orange. On arrival unit was being used and flames are blue as normal with orange occasionally on tips. Called tech line. File # 7738306343. Explained to customer Humidifier or vaporizer may cause the orange, sometimes pink.. any type of indoor air pollution, paint, cleaning chemicals, etc.. not harmful per tech line."

"Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Talking with the customer there have been 2 ui installed, took voltage drops at the ui and found 12.7 vdc. Gettin the correct voltage at the ui while it is in working order. The unit never stopped dispensing water or ice while I was there so I could get a reading while the unit is not working. Customer issues are that the paddles wont dispense water or ice until the customer power the unit down and backup. Going to replace the control board, the power supply and the ui all at once. Returning tech install all 3 boards at once then test. No water leaks deep during service.; ordrng 1 WPW10624574 (Power supply) and 1 WPW10675033 (Control board)"

Arrived on site for dryer not keeping door shut. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found door hinges bad. Replaced hinges(2x) and tested unit. Found door staying closed call complete.

"On arrival verified complaint of leaking water. Confirmed leak started around time of freeze. Unit shows no sign of damage internally. Customer states unit also only leaked on second load not first. Customer states only leaked when running drain pump. Ran diag test 3x and all operations are good. No leaks from unit. Unit is in a closet on a porch, advised possible ice build up inside the wall drain causing a restriction allowing water from second load to over flow from in wall drain pipe. Job complete no leaks detected during service. Operational test is good."
