Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling. I found the unit cool but not at temp in either compartment. I found the evaporator fan not running but the compressor was running. I power cycled the unit and had the same results. I tested voltage at the evaporator fan and had none. I powered the control off and back on and the fan came on but only ran a few minutes and shut off again with the rest of the sealed system components running. I replaced the main control and tested the unit. I watched the FC drop below 28 degrees and it was continuing to drop. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Spoke with homeowner and provided estimate for a calibration and temperature check of $199.99 + tax. Customer approved. Ran temperature checks on 350, and found unit is properly cycling, and actually a little on the hot side. Average temps at 366 degrees. Increased temps to 425 and tested again and found cycling up to 475 and back down to 375, showing a fairly consistent 10 degree variation. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1-drain pump. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed except the drain pump was very slow. I removed the drain filter and found the screens completed coated with detergent debris. Cleaned the filter and the sump screen and recommended that the customer clean the unit with dishwasher magic to get the detergent debris out of the unit. Due to the drain pump not operating as designed. Made recommendations for detergent and rinse aid use as well as use & care due to customer having a water softener. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that a plastic piece fell off the dispenser and the freezer is frosting up. I found the auger bushing in the ice bucket had popped out and I put it back in place. The dispenser is working as designed. I removed the ice build up under the deli drawer and ms stated she thought that was cause when the ice maker jammed and pushed the bucket out. I found the FC door not sealing correctly causing frost build up. I removed the ice and frost around the door and the door sealed properly. I explained to ms that if it continues to happen the rails could need to be replaced.

"Arrived on site for washer that is leaking when put in a delicate or a cold setting. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F0 E4 (high water temperature - rinse cycle) error code. I tested the unit in a manual test and found hot water drawing in due to cold water valve not pulling in water. When draining, I noticed the drain pipe in the home filling up and backing up onto the drain I checked the water lines and found the hot and cold water hoses on the wrong valves. Replaced valve and tested unit. Unit was pulling cold and hot water as designed. Tested unit in a deep wash. The unit worked as designed until the unit went into a drain. The drain pipe backed up and started to overflow out of the drain down the wall and onto the floor. Advised customer to have drain pipe looked at for proper draining. Call complete. All water lines were dry."

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezing food. Upon further inspection, I tested the temps in the RC section and it was 28 degrees. I tested the thermostat and turned the unit off and it shut off. After a few minutes, I turned the thermostat back on and the unit came on and began to cool. I attempted to remove the thermostat and it went under not budge. Contacted Techline ad spoke to Rich and questioned the positioning of the thermostat and he advised that it’s attached to the evaporator at some point. I inspected the evaporator and never found where it attached. I found a service pointer W11042235 and found that the thermostat bulb has to be completely covered and it wasn’t. I recovered the thermostat bulb and reassembled the unit and advised the customer that due to this issue of the bulb not being completely covered, this is causing the thermostat to remain open and causing the colder temps in the refrigerator section. This appears to be all the burners and is not isolated to one, so a simple valve adjustment would not work. Orifices look good and are not clogged. The customer does not have internet connection and is not connected to WiFi on the unit. I cycled the power to the unit and reprogrammed. Tested unit and it is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer get the WiFi connection as soon as possible and download the Whirlpool app to their phone and contact the Whirlpool Connect team- 866-333-4591 for any assistance in connecting to WiFi on the unit. Gained access to the evaporator and found ice building up on the evaporator. Tested defrost heater and found activating in tested mode. Called tech line and spoke with Kathy (SR # 7727179792). Tech line said to test the thermistor from the control board. Tested the thermistor from the control board and was getting 8.95 K Ohms, with in range of operation.
