I found the unit heated and cycled with internal vent measured temperatures of an average high of 185 and re-ignition average of 120 through 5 cycles and there were no missed ignitions. The outside venting was missing the cap and the tube was left open and I advised the customer to have a vent cap installed. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected and negligible lint within chassis."

I found the servo seal had failed and water got into the lower harness area. The main control malfunctioned and sent line VAC to the vent wax motor at all times and the vent fan showed corrosion and will require the assembly. The UI has phantom indicators in at all times and the unit will not operate the drain pump after the water gets into the harness. The unit will require the UI , control, pump and motor and vent assembly. The customer elected to discuss with family due to cost. I advised the customer the quote is good for 30 days. DW100 $99.99. No leaks of the water supply observed during service."
