MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL WMH76719CS1 Arrived onsite for the microwave that is humming very loud and arcing. I checked the HV side of the circuit and I found that one of the magnets on the mag had broken loose. I removed the mag and used an inspection mirror to see the inside of the wave guide where the antenna goes in. The wave guide was clean. I replaced the mag and tested the unit. The unit started arcing immediately at the entrance side of the wave guide to the cavity. I inspected the inside portion of the wave guide and found it arced. The unit is non-repairable. I called techline and spoke with Kris file number 7723258463.

The unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end of testing. During spin cycle, I could hear what sounded like coins being spun around the agitator. I attempted to remove the agitator, but was unable to do so. I advised the customer that their tenants are putting too much detergent in the unit and need to only use a small amount. VENTHOOD WHIRLPOOL WVU37UC0FS0 "arrived on site to inspect noisy venthood fan. Upon further inspection, I turned the fan on low, medium and high and as I increased the speed the noise got louder. I removed the fan from the housing and found that when installed, a screw holding the vent in place was mounted and was too long which was hitting the fan blade and rubbing against the blade causing the noise. Using a pair of pliers, I backed the screw out far enough to where it would not hit the fan blade but still hold the vent in place. Also, I secured some of the silver duct tape that was not secured as it was rubbing on the fan blade as well. I re-install the fan blade to the housing and tested and the unit operated as designed. Job completed. No one available to sign for the receipt as this is a new/vacant home."

WASHER MAYTAG MVWX655DW1 Arrived onsite for the washer taking too long to fill and not filling with enough water. I ran diagnostics and the unit did work as designed. There were no stored error codes in the control. I did find the tub and basket not level in the chassis. I leveled the machine up. I also tested the unit in a deep water wash cycle and found the unit filling to it’s correct level on the wash plate without any clothing. I had ms load the washer with towels and tested the unit in a deep water wash. The unit filled with water to about an inch from the top of the towels and worked as designed. I went over the selections on the control panel with ms and explained correct loading of the machine with ms. I called techline and spoke with Butch file number 7723262768 to give all the details of the call. Call complete.

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW7000DW0 "arrived on site to inspect washer with clothes still wet. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with error codes F0E3 and F0E5 appearing. I cleared to codes and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed but during testing, I could hear water continuously dripping into the unit up until the unit finished diagnostics. The customer agreed to the repair and paid in full. I removed and replaced the water inlet valve housing and tested the unit and it operated as designed with no error codes. DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL KDTE404DSS0 "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking. Upon further inspection, the customer had the unit on and I found a small leak puddle along the ground line in front of the unit near the bottom right corner. I stopped the unit and drained the water and placed it in diagnostics and found no error codes. During diagnostics, I could not find a leak anywhere on the unit. I removed the outer door panel and ran the unit through diagnostics again. This time, I could see the reservoir at the bottom of the door area and found suds. I opened the doors and found a large amount of suds in the bottom of the tub and noticed that the dispenser was leaking rinse aid from the bottom of the dispenser. I advised the customer of my findings and called Techline to report my findings due to the “leak” history on this unit. JT from Techline provided File #7723263168. DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED92HEFW2 "arrived on site to inspect dryer not drying. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that he had an electrician inspect the breaker and outlet to the dryer and reported that it was 240 volts. Using my multimeter, I verified 240 volts at the outlet and at the terminal block on the dryer with it off and while turned on. I remove the top of the unit and turned it on and found that the element is working. Using my multimeter, I placed my temp lead inside the drum near the vent and tested and the unit would. Not get any hotter than 107 degrees. I found that the unit was in “eco boost” mode. I turned the eco boost off and the unit immediately jumped to 218 degrees. I advised the customer of my finding and advised that the unit is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer not operate the unit with eco boost on in order to get their clothing dry. No lint observed during service, job completed."
