Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the door had been repaired by an AE tech recently , but she found that there was a screw missing from the back terminal block panel and the power cord wasn’t secure. The customer thought that she might have swept up the screw while cleaning. I removed the terminal block panel and reinstalled the power cord clamp that secures the power cord to the chassis and re-installed a screw in the place of the missing screw. Job completed."

COOKTOP WHIRLPOOL WFE515S0ES1 "arrived on site to inspect range cooktop hot surface light not turning off. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the hot surface light would turn off n approximately 10-15 minutes after use when they first got the unit. Now it takes approximately 30-35 minutes to turn off. I turned the back left burner on for maybe 30 seconds and turned it off and waited to see how long it would be before the light turned off. After approximately 30 minutes the light was still on but the cooktop was still warm to touch. I found lots of food debris on the right front and back burners and advised the customer that they should clean the cooktop after every use to prevent any damage to the glass cooktop. I advised them the use a ceramic cooktop cleaner and a cooktop scraper to get the tougher debris off. While waiting for the unit to cool down, I found that the oven door handle was loose so I tightened it. After approximately 30 minutes, the cooktop did not coo

I found the porcelain coming off the holes in the lower part of the basket causing clothing to snag and tare due to the age of the unit. I found the transmission knocking and the clutch slipping from worn gears and springs due to the age of the unit. I found the tub ring stopped up with liquid bleach causing it to run over the top and down on the floor. Need to clean out the tub ring, replace the basket and the transmission to complete service. I also explained that the silicone to the counter top would need to be removed by the builder or themselves so the unit could be pulled forward to adjust the valves low flame setting for LP gas. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested on modes 59, 65, 66, 79, 97, and 120 and all tests were good. During test 120, the ice maker harvested correctly. In mode 97, the water tube did not dispense any water. I removed the ice maker and inspected the wiring and found them to be good. I verified ohms to the water tube heater. I disconnected the tube at the left door hinge and tested the water tube again and water dispensed out of the main tube. I reconnected the tubes and tested one more time and this time water dispensed from the water tube. I re-installed the ice maker and tested again, and the water tube dispensed water ad the ice maker began to operate as designed. I advised the customer of my findings. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I installed a new emitter and receiver kit. I tested the icemaker and had power to it. As soon as it started to go into harvest it lost power. I suspect a bad heater in the icemaker.
