MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL WMH31017HS2 "arrived on site to inspect microwave making loud noise. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit using a cup of water and found that it was not heating properly and while testing, I could hear that one of the components was making a loud noise. I pulled the unit from the wall and placed it on my towel on the island. I removed the top cover and plugged the unit in and tested again. It sounded as if the noise was coming from the magnetron. I removed and replaced the magnetron, capacitor and diode and tested again. The unit was heating good, but the noise was still there. I removed and replaced the transformer and tested and the unit is much quieter now. I put the unit back together and placed it back on the wall. I tested the unit one more time and it operated as designed. Job completed. Builder not available to sign receipt."

Upon further inspection, I found a large amount of ice in the bottom of the fc section and ice built up in the evaporator drainage pan due to the the drain tube being blocked. Using my steamer, I removed the ice and cleared the ice from the drain tube. I pulled the unit from its space and removed the back cover. I found that the drain tube was gapped causing warm air to flow up to the evaporator causing the ice build up. Using manufacturers approved silicone, I sealed the drain tube and out the cover back on and moved the unit back to its space. Using my multimeter, I tested ohms at the heater and found it good. I advised the customer of my findings and the repairs I completed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

OVEN KITCHENAID KOCE500ESS06 "arrived on site to inspect oven frame bent. Upon further inspection, I checked the oven out good and did not find any bending of the frame. I contacted the builder and they advised that the frame at the bottom corners was bent (vent). He explained that there was a unit in the same place that was defective and it was flush from top to bottom and when it was replaced with the current unit, the owner found that at the bottoms corners it was not flush. I attempted to correct the issue, but due to the installation, the corners of the vents will stick out. I removed and replaced the vent cover due to the original being scratched. I attempted to correct the issue, but the corners continue to stick out a little. I contacted the builder to advise of the repair. In order to get inside the home, I rang the doorbell and someone answer on the speaker and let me in.
