REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFF300EBS00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not defrosting. Upon arrival, the customer advised that he had found the fc door opened and he closed it, but found a small amount of ice buildup in the fc section at the top of the fc door and near the light. I found that the fc door gasket is badly gapped more than a 1/4 inch at the right top corner. I removed the door and adjusted the right hinge and reshaped the gasket and reinstalled the door. The door sealed as designed. Also, I found that the left rc door mullion was not seated correctly and the bottom left hinge was slightly bent. I adjusted the hinge and tested the door and it operated (closed) as designed. Using manufacturers approved silicone, I sealed the large gaps in between the rc cabinet and the chassis. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

DRYER MAYTAG MEDB765FC0 "arrived on site to inspect dryer not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when the unit heats up it starts to make a loud vibration noise and when the unit is turned on, it makes a loud screeching noise. Turned the unit on and I could hear the screeching noise and after approximately 2-3 minutes, the unit began to make a loud vibrating/rumbling noise. I removed the tub and using a jumper wire I turned the unit on and could tell that the motor was making the screeching noise; almost sounds like it is stripping gears when it starts. The vibration noise was coming from the air duct. Using some sealer pads, I placed them in between the ent and the chassis and the noise stopped. I also found that the belt was beginning to fray in certain areas. I am ordering a motor, blower wheel, belt, and tension pulley. Scheduled return service for 01/23/19. I tested the unit setting the delay and the lights stayed on the entire time. I opened the door and closed the door. The lights blinked until I pressed the start button again to reset the delayed wash. I checked stored error codes and there were none. I tested the unit again setting the delay and the lights stayed on but when I opened and closed the door the lights didn’t continue to blink. The lights returned to staying on without pressing start. WASHER MAYTAG MVWB450WQ1 "arrived on site to inspect washer making humming noise. Upon further inspection, I found water in the tub and when the unit is turned on, the drain pump motor makes a humming noise, but will not drain the water. I removed the water hoses to the valve and found that the valve screens were completely blocked with debris. I received authorization from the office to replace the valve log and both pumps. I removed and replaced the valve log and drain pump ad tested the unit. It operated as designed with no error codes. I did not need the reciprocating pump. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I contacted GE Techline and they suggested replacing the motor pulley or the control. They had me test the motor at the control and it was not showing correct voltage (VDC). I removed and replaced the motor and the control (warrantied) and tested and the unit agitated and began to spin, but stopped spinning after the drum spun approximately 360 degrees. I notified my service manager CS and he advised to remove the motor and advise the customer that he would be contacting them to discuss the unit.
