I deleted the codes and ran the auto diagnostics test. The door locked and the water fill both worked as designed. The unit completed the test and worked as designed. I found the harness between the UI and the CCU corroded at the UI connector and took pics in SDQP. I cleaned the pins and the connector with an electrical contact cleaned.I tested the UI and it’s functioning as designed. I could not find any other failure with the unit at this time. I went over detergent use with ms and I explained to try the unit to see if it continues to function properly now. Call complete."

REFRIGERATOR JENN-AIR JFI2589AEP Arrived onsite for the refrigerator with the FC not cooling properly but the RC is ok. When I arrived the customer had the settings on max cool and the FC was at -6 degrees and working as designed. The icemaker is working as designed. From what the customer is describing as the issue with this happening every couple of days I suspect the bi-metal thermostat sticking closed and the unit staying in defrost. I inspected the condenser coil and it was covered solid in animal hair. We cleaned the coil. I explained to mr that this could cause cooling issues also and to try this and see if it solves the issue and if not we need to change the bi-metal. Call complete.
