Arrived on site for no drain. Upon arrival there was a small amount of water in the rear of the basket. I turned the unit on and observed a complete rinse/spin cycle. All operations are normal with no problems and no leaks found. It is possible, since this was clear water that I saw, the water valve my periodically be seeping. This is a Full size stacked washer and dryer and I cannot access anything in the unit. The customer will let me know 24 hours from now if there is any water in the unit and she will not use the unit during that 24 hours. We will know then what to tell American home Shield.

arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the unit was operating and cooling just fine, but the compressor never shuts off. The unit was located outside on the northwest side of the house under a porch. The unit was unplugged at the time of service. I plugged the unit in and waited for it to cool. The unit began to cool immediately. I inspected the condenser coil on the back of the unit and it was very clean and the condenser line was beginning to get hot. The unit was operating as designed, but due to it being outside and the outside temps getting close to or over 100 degrees, the compressor will continue to run to keep everything inside the unit cold. I found nothing wrong with this unit. I quoted the customer RF100. $99.99 for a total including tax of $108.24. The customer paid in full. No water lines connected to the unit. Job completed.

Ran unit to check for any other water leaks, unit filled, agitated, spun and drained. No leaks observed from any other spot on unit. Will need autho for hoses. All water has been turned off to unit as far as tech able to, hot side still has slight drip and customer is aware and has put towel around. No damage has been done to home per customer. arrived on site to inspect microwave door not latching. Upon further inspection, I found that the microwave door latch is not catching and keeping the door closed. It appears that the spring came off of the latch. I removed the door and then removed the inner trim and found that the hook that the spring hooks on to was broken. Being as the door is discontinued, I used my hole punch and made a small hole in the base of the spring hook on the door latch and hooked the spring through the hole and hooked the spring through the hole on the door and tested. The latch retracted up and down like it's supposed to. I re-installed the trim to the door and reattached the door to the unit and closed it and tested the unit. Unit operates as designed. Job completed. I contacted the customer by phone since they were not available for service or to sign the receipt and advised of my findings and what I did to correct the issue. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect dishwasher knob continuously turning. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit by turning the knob and the knob was fine, but the timer was not engaging. I opened the unit door and removed the inner lining of the door to expose the timer and switches. I verified ohms to both switches and found that the timer was the issue. The timer is not engaging or operating as designed. I am ordering a timer and timer cam and scheduled return service for 09/07/18 with a time frame of 8-10am per customer request. No water leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to inspect washer filling when not in use. Upon further inspection, I found that the valve was open and allowing water to drip into the unit when it is not in use. I quoted the customer FL350 $179.99 for diagnosis/labor fee and $77.03 for the water valve for a total including tax of $278.22. The customer agreed to the repair and paid in full, so I removed and replaced the water inlet valve and in the process, I found a lot of debris in the screens of the valve. I tested the unit and it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.

arrived on site to inspect dryer door not closing. Upon further inspection, I found that the dryer door was very hard to close. It appears that the strike and catch aren't lining up correctly. I removed and replaced the strike and catch and the unit door closes easier now. No lint observed during service, job completed.

MED5500FC2 (Dryer) - Arrived onsite for customer complaint of dryer making loud grinding noises when tumbling. Removed bulkhead and found wheel bearing scraping. Removed wheels and installed new dryer wheels. Reassembled. Tested. Dryer now making lid rattling from front of unit. Ordering dryer pad to complete repair. Next available for customer is Friday 9/7. Dryer vent and lint trap was clean of lint at time of service.
