I placed the unit in diagnostics with no error codes showing. During testing, when the unit began to spin, it sounded like a loud metal on metal noise. I tilted the unit back and found idle on the rotor. I advised the customer of my findings and got authorization from the office (SC). I removed and replaced the gearcase and clutch and tested. I checked the pressure hose to the tub and found it clear. I ran the auto diagnostics test and it worked as designed. I ran the normal wash and found the unit continuing to fill. I replaced the control and ran a calibration cycle. I ran the auto diagnostics cycle again and the unit worked as designed. REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFC604FSS00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker issues. Customer advised that the ice is coming out clumped up. When I opened the left RC door I found condensation on the ice bin door and on the inner lining of the left RC door. I found that the ice bin door gasket was worn and gapped ad the ice bin was cracked from a clump of ice getting jammed in between the auger and down spout of the bin. The vents on the side of the left door were good as were the gaskets; no condensation. I tested the ice maker and it operated as designed. Looking at the ice, the cubes are forming but there’s approximately 1/2 inch of extra ice on the tops of the cubes. Customer advised that they had a regulator placed on their water line due to the pressure being too high. I replaced the ice maker in hopes of adjusting the water dispensing into the tray. I am ordering an ice bin door and ice bin. Due to the door being Expart, the office will reschedule return service. No

I secured the thermistor with a zip tie and foil tape on the straight section of the suction line at the connection to the evaporator. Using manufacturers approved clear silicone, I sealed the gapping in between the RC cabinet and chassis and the gapping on the drain tube. Tested the unit and it began to cool immediately. Advised customer to allow the unit to get to temp at least 12-24 hours. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Customer advised that she tried all settings and the only setting that would work was timed dry. The unit showed no error codes in diagnostics. I contacted GE Techline and spoke to Jeff who advised that there have been several calls on this issue and that if the unit is being used in an automatic setting with less than 5 clothing items in it, it will not dry more than four minutes. He advised to use the timed dry for small loads. He also advised the make sure the unit is tilting forward so the clothing would rub against the sensors. I advised the customer of the info I received from the Techline. No lint observed during service, job completed."

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFC704FPS00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found that the RC Evap cover was frosted up. Temps were RC=51 degrees ad FC=9 degrees. Per Service pointer #W11329116, I will replace the RC Evap cover and main control and Whirlpool is covering the cost per this service pointer. Also, returning tech needs to seal the drain tube in the back of the unit and around the gaps between the cabinets and chassis and level the unit. I am ordering the main control and CNOTE-LSO per customer request. I will return with the Evap cover. No water leaks observed during service. I had the customer sign a waiver of damages when defrosting the refrigerator and advised the customer to pull the unit out from the wall and unplug it 24-48 hours prior to my return to allow the unit to defrost ad to place towels around the unit to soak up any water residue. ; ordrng 1 W11333076 (CONTROL)"

I found a crack running from the front of the unit on the right side to the rear of the unit thru the middle of both right side burners. I also found the glass cracked in the middle at the down draft. The unit needs foam strips installed under it because the cooktop is in the middle of a granite seam and the seam is slightly lower than the edges.
