MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL GT4175SPS0 "arrived on site to inspect microwave not heating. Upon further inspection, using s cup of water, I tested the unit and found that it does not heat and the turntable motor is not turning. I pulled the unit from the wall and pulled the turntable motor and using my multimeter I checked for ohms and the motor showed to be open. I also found that the inner door is badly rusted and needs to be replaced. I am ordering the capacitor, diode, turntable motor and door. I will return with the magnetron. The door is no longer available so the office will need to contact customers warranty provider and see about finding a door. Also ordered a CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION. Office to schedule return service. Ticket is showing a cap and diode as parts prescreened for today, but I only arrived with a magnetron. Ice within the ice bin was hollow and wet and there was some sign of refreezing at the bottom of the bin. found the unit would only maintain 12 degrees within the fc and 42 in the rc. It was running upon arrival and the condenser was not nearly as warm as expected. Test mode 5 caused the condenser to warm slightly, but not as much as expected. Test mode 4 had similar condenser warming as 5 and frost patterns were not as good as expected. I suspect the compressor is weakening and unable to pump refrigerant as it should, lowering cooling capacity and causing the ice issue. The customer said the ice appearance and dripping has progressively gotten worse. Office to order compressor, dye drier, service port and both evaporators, in case they are needed. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX988SIBM01 Arrived onsite for the refrigerator that has a water leak coming from the top of the unit. Ms also stated there is ice build up at the rear of the icemaker housing. I found the reservoir connector at the filter head dripping very slowly. I found the line not completely seated in the quick disconnect fitting on the filter head. I seated the line fully and the water drip stopped. I explained to the customer that the rear ice maker adaptor would need to be replaced to stop the warm air leak that’s creating the ice build up at the rear of the icemaker. I also explained that the reservoir line isn’t leaking any more at this time but we would check it again on the return visit and the filter head could possibly need replacing. ordrng 1 W11194438 (HOUSING)

DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTE104ESS1 "Arrived onsite for the dishwasher not advancing in the cycle and not washing correctly. I checked stored error codes and found an F7E1 & F5E1. I found the pump motor not running. I tested voltage out of the control to the pump and had 123VAC. I tightened the connectors at the control and reattached the harness and the pump started running. The machine completed the test and everything worked as designed. I found the filter dirty and showed the customer how to remove, clean, and reinstall it. There were no water leaks present at the time of service.

DRYER AMANA NED4655EW1 Arrived on site for the unit will not heat and the timer will not move. Tested the unit and found the unit is only getting 120 V. Reset the breaker and the unit is now getting 240 V. Found the timer is defective by not moving. Replace the timer and tested the unit. unit is working and heating properly. Advise customer to call a electrician for the weak breaker and to clean air vents every six months.

I was suspicious of evaporator frosting, but found it was clear and the defrost system apparently working as designed. Closer inspection revealed the fan motor not fully seated and allowing too much air to bypass and the evaporator cover was not fully seated against the back of the fc chamber. I corrected both issue and advised the customer. If further issues occur, the evaporator cover assembly will be required. No leaks observed during service."

I found the RC evaporator completely incased in frost. Ms stated water was running out on the floor from inside the unit so I suspect the drain is plugged with debris. I went over defrost instructions with ms and had the waiver signed. I found no power to the emitter or receiver controls because of a defective UI and no power to the icemaker from the main control which could possibly be because of the UI or the main control could also be defective. I explained that there could still be a bad emitter, receiver, or icemaker and that we will not know until we establish power to them. Marking main control and icemaker as UORV.
