"Arrived on site to inspect washer dispenser holding water. Upon further inspection , the customer advised the fabric softener dispenser is holding water. Raised the lid to inspect and found a small amount of water in the dispenser reservoir and also found some old softener as well. I raised the top panel to gain access to the dispenser and found the port where the water flows out into the basket had old softener debris inside (photo). Using a Qtip, I attempted to clear the debris but was unable to get all of it out. Also found the Load & Go dispenser is leaking detergent. When I went to pull the unit out further p, I found a small amount of water on the floor at the front left corner. I found that when the softener dispenser is dispensing into the basket, its spraying out and running down the inside of the side panels and onto the floor due to the build up of softener in the dispenser. I advised the customer of my findings and they advised they have a water softener system. I am ordering the faucet switch assembly and UI fascia and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and scheduled return service for 01/01/24 (KC). I will return with prescreened parts. Arrived on site to inspect unit for catching on fire in cavity and to document with safety. Found broil element shorted causing fire. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and it began to make a thumping noise. I removed the the top panel, which is damaged on both sides (photos), and found the belt loose. I disassembled the unit to find the motor pulley was broken (photo) and the belt is badly frayed. I removed and replaced the drive motor and belt (from repair kit) and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed"

Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. I verified the issue. I tested voltage at the outlet. I found 120 on L1 and L2 but I did not find 240VAC across them. I reset the breaker and still did not find 240. I tested all fuses and thermostats and found good readings. The heating element is good as well. After further testing I found the power cord that plugs into the wall is loose in the wall receptacle. After wiggling the plug it now heats properly. I instructed the customer to get the outlet replaced to resolve the issue.

Arrived on site to inspect gas range. The customer informed me while baking she smells a gas smell. The gas was not shut off and upon arrival I smelled no gas. I tested the cooktop and found everything working properly. I ran a bake cycle to 350 and verified the burner igniting properly. I watched the bake burner ignite multiple times with no issues. I bubble tested all gas connections and found no leaks. I instructed the customer that when the bake burner ignites not all gas ignites and some will escape the oven. This is normal. The unit is operating as designed at this time. No gas leaks detected during service. I called Whirlpool Safety and spoke with Eric I documented my findings 7738051298.

"KUIX535HBS01 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the evaporator plate was actually quite smooth and in very good condition. There was debris at the very front end and it was rough to the touch. During inspection, I found the water level sensor was not filling as expected and the water level was between 3/8 and 1/2 too low. This coupled with the rough debris at the front of the plate was likely making too thin initial slabs that would not slide down the plate all the way and allow water to cascade over and into the bin, instead of the reservoir catchment trough. As more ice was being produced/harvested, the issue would vary from worse to slightly better. Office to order circulation pump. Office to contact the customer to arrange return service. Got 11.2 amps at beginning of preheat, and 15.34 amps as broil energizes to assist with preheating. Turned on all cooktop burners and oven at same time and got 45 amps then 49.3 amps when broiler energizes. Unit is pulling correct amp draw. Found breaker has a 40 GFCI breaker and getting 125 v from L1 and L2, with 251 v together. Builder will replace breaker with a higher rated and call back if necessary. Job complete."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with the FC gasket not sealing well. I found both door gaskets sealing properly. I found no ice or moisture build up on the liner. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. On inspection the rc was 45? set at 35? the fc was 13? set at 0?. Customer said that there was frost on the back fc evap cover. She pulled the power and defrosted the unit for 24hrs. I gain access to the fc evap and checked the heater and it was on and hot. Checked the thermistor and it 6.3k 43? shoot pipe the thermistor was on in it was 45?, thermistor was good. I then noticed that the fan had not been on the whole time I was checking the components out. The fan finally came on after 30 mins. I then checked the condenser and it was 100% clogged, clean it out and told customer that the condenser being clogged can cause the issue she is having. She is going to give it a few days to see if is working correctly. No water leaks detected during service."

Found the center million at 52.2?F. I unplugged the condenser fan and found The center Moen starting to heat up, indicating a good system. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# He advised that it was a known issue and the fix was to install two small foam gaskets around the upper gasket on the freezer door. He gave me he part number for the said parts and advised that if that didnt work, we would have to replace the door. Arrived onsite for a wall oven that is taking too long to bake dishes and is not maintaining temps. Upon arrival I checked for voltage at the power cord and found good voltage there. The I tested both heating elements and found that both were good. I tested the temp sensor and found that it tested within spec. Upon further inspection I found that the connector on the main control was not fully seated I corrected this and and tested the unit several time and found that the unit operated as designed each time.

Arrived onsite for a DW where the door falls down when opened. Upon arrival I inspected the unit and found that the spring on the right side hinge had came off allowing the door to fall. I corrected this and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has frost buildup in the freezer section. Inspected unit and work area. Found a spot on the evaporator cover that had a slight frost on it. Removed the evaporator cover, and did not find any evidence of a defrost issue. Did advise the customer that the issue was most likely either with a door being opened or warm food being put in the freezer section that caused excess steam buildup in that area. The customer advised he wasnt sure about the warm foods causing steam just because the frost has been there for two or three months already. It has not affected their temperatures at all, but he just wanted to make sure that it was OK since he was running out of warranty. I did it was a customer that everything is OK and did steam off the excess frost. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not washing dishes. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F4 E3 (wash motor failure) error code. Around the unit through an auto tested and confirmed that the wash motor would not run. Replaced the washer motor assembly and tested the unit. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Upon entry, found the freezer section sitting at 2?F in the refrigerator section sitting at 38?F. Checked the evaporator and found a good frost pattern across the entire evaporator. Spoke to SW and was advised to proceed forward with the sealed system repair. I replace the compressor, dryer, and access valve and pressurize the system with nitrogen. Found no pressure drops. Vacuumed down the unit to -30 psi in profound pressures. Hold for 15 minutes. Charged the unit up with 47 g of R600 refrigerant and tested the unit. The unit began to cooling operate as designed. Also added silicone to the outer edges of the liner. Call complete."
