WASHER MAYTAG MVWB835DW2 Arrived onsite for the washer not spinning leaving the clothes wet and some water still in the basket. I checked stored error codes and found an F0E3 code. I found the basket turning freely. I ran test 51 and all steps passed. Ms stated she was washing towels when this happened. I found the legs screwed all the way in the chassis. I found rub marks on the rotor. I screwed the legs all the way out and adjusted the level of the unit. I ran the unit in a high speed spin and adjusted the legs for vibration. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRV986FDEM01 Arrived onsite for the refrigerator with the doors not closing correctly and the ice dispenser leaking water. I found the door mullion not opening all the way causing it to hit the right door when closing the left door. I found the ice door not closing fully on the separator. I replaced the mullion and the separator. Mr mentioned the FC door rusting. I found multiple rust spots on the FC door and some on the left RC door. I took pics in SDQP of the spots and I explained to mr that this is considered cosmetic and he would need to contact Whirlpool Customer Care to have them send us a concession to replace the doors or he could use a non scratch SS pad to remove the rust and then a good polish on the doors. Call complete.

I found excessive condensate forming within the rc chamber, especially from the ice maker housing and the top of the air tower. Further inspection revealed the left rc door badly warped and not allowing the mullion to fold closed without applying a high amount of force by hand. The lower right corner of the fc will require adjustment to correct chassis overlap. The door and mullion will require replacement. Office to authorize door and mullion. I advised the customer to manually operate the mullion until we return with the door and that the door may take 6-10 weeks. No leaks observed during service. DRYER WHIRLPOOL MDET446AYW "arrived on site to inspect dryer timer not advancing. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and there were none. The customer advised that the unit timer would not count down and she could smell something burning. I lifted the top of the unit to expose the drum and inner components and turned the unit on. Immediately, I could hear a loud metal to metal grinding noise. I pulled back on the front mount that holds the drum seal and the noise stopped. I found that the seal is badly worn and will need to be replaced as will the rear seal. I stopped the unit and turned the timer to 10 minutes and started the unit and found that the after almost 15 mins, the timer had not counted down and the unit continued to operate. I verified ohms to the element, cutoffs and fuse. I verified voltage to the door switch. No lint observed during service, job completed."
