WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW9151YW00 "arrived on site to inspect washer not draining and clothes wet. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and error codes F9E1 and F5E3 appeared. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. During testing, I find a large amount of detergent suds in the drum. When the unit began to drain, I pulled the drain tube at the drain pipe and found the water flow very weak. Once the unit was done with diagnostics with no error codes at the end, using my wet vac, I removed the drain pump filter and found a large amount of debris which was blocking the flow of the water. I cleared the filter and put it back in place. I ran the unit through diagnostics again and the unit operated as designed with no error codes again. I advised the customer of my findings and gave recommendations on use and care and detergent use as well. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

The cold water valve at the wall does not shut off entirely and needs to be replaced. I advised the customer of this issue, but it does not effect the unit. Although, it could cause a leak in the future. Also, I found that the zip tie, that I applied to the drain hose at the drain pipe at the previous service call, had been removed. VENTHOOD UNKNOWN WVU37UC6FS0 "arrived on site to inspect venthood fan making loud noise. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit on and immediately the noise started. I turned the fan off and removed the fan motor. I find a screw that was protruding through the vent assembly and was rubbing against the fan wheel. I backed the screw out and placed some foil tape over the hole where the screw was and placed the fan motor back into place. I tested the unit ad it operated as designed with no loud noise. Customer was not available to sign the receipt, but I called him and advised him of my findings. Job completed."

MICROWAVE MAYTAG MMV4205DS1 "arrived on site to inspect microwave not heating. Upon further inspection, I placed a cup of water in the unit and turned on for 30 seconds. At the end of the cycle, the water was still cold. I removed the unit form the wall and removed the cover to expose the internal components. I plugged the unit in and placed the cup of water inside and started the unit on a 30 second heat. This time, the water was warm to touch. I tested the magnetron and it was good as was the transformer. I have no way of testing the diode or capacitor but while the unit was operating, there was no unusual noise coming from the diode/capacitor area. I did find that the mounting bracket on the wall was leaning down on the left approximately one quarter inch which could be causing the door to not engage the switches correctly. I placed the cover back on and placed the unit back on the wall and tested. Again, the water heated. I did not charge the customer a service fee due to this sam

I tested the unit and found an F6E4 open float switch and F7E1 no heat stored error codes. I ran the diagnostics cycle and found the pump and both wash arms working as designed. I found nothing in the tub that could have gotten under the float. I found the heater working as designed in wash and in the dry cycle. The unit completed the cycle and is working as designed. I tested within service test mode and all other fans worked well, but the ice maker housing fan was quite weak. The ice bin assembly had broken due to freeze/thaw cycles caused from a mismounted ice maker housing folding the ice bin door. Office to order ice box fan, valve, ice container and bin door. Removed top door to access lock. Unlocked door and removed door. Pulled unit out to test voltage at receptacle. Found unit was hard wired in and no junction box (see SD-QUICKPIC). Gained access to fuse, tested fuse and found opened. Removed failed thermal fuse and installed new. Added temporarily mounting screws. Powered unit on and performed diagnostics mode. Tested door locks, upper and lower fans. Ran factory reset and tested all heating operations. All tested good."

Also customer concern of the unit tipping forward when door opened. Found tipping due to the feet sliding on the tile and the side mounts are acting as a pivot point. Instructed customer that due to the granite countertops that a mounting bracket would have to be installed to mount dishwasher from the top to correct the dishwasher pivoting issue. I ran diagnostics and found no faults and all functions of unit test good. Instructed customer on best practices for best drying and that rinse aid should be used to help water run off of surfaces to assist with drying. Unit working as designed. Job complete
