RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFG505M0BS2 "arrived on site to inspect range heat too hot and making microwave handle hot. Upon further inspection, the customer advised test when she cooks on the cooktop, the microwave handle gets extremely hot and that she has burned her fingers. I pulled the microwave model number on Service Matters and checked the specifics on installation and found that the unit should be 30 inches from the top of the microwave to the top of the cooktop and 66 inches from the top of the MW to the floor. My measurements were 36 1/2 inches from the top of the MW to the top of the cooktop and 72 inches from the top of the MW to the floor. It’s well within the specifics. The size of the microwave is 16 1/4 inches in height and 29 7/8 inches in length which is the demensions as designed. Using my tape measure, I place the end on the cooktop and advanced it up the front of the microwave to show that the front burners are well in front of the microwave and even with the venthood fan on

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW7000DW0 "arrived on site to inspect washer with a water fill issue. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and it showed error code F0E3. I cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed. I placed the unit in manual test mode and tested the water valves and found that the cold water valve was slow to dispense and would continue to run even after the valve was shut off. I tested the hot water valve and it too was slow to start, but in the end after the valve was turned off, the water continued flowing. I removed and replaced the water inlet valve ad tested and the unit operated as designed with no error codes in the end. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

There were no stored codes and the unit completed the cycle and worked as designed drawing 8.4 amps with the heater energized in the wash cycle and at the start of the dry cycle. This unit is not manufactured with a automatic rinse aid dispenser. I went over detergent use with the customer. I went over cleaning the filters with the customer. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete. I called techline and spoke with Steve SR# 7723383691. Steve advised pods with rinse aid in them.

Ms stated both compartments had been cooling properly since I was here last but not much ice has been made. I found the ice bin completely full and showed ms. I checked the RC temp and it was at 37.7 degrees and the coil was clear. The FC temp was at -1.1 degrees. The ice maker had no error codes. I ran the harvest cycle and it dumped the ice. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

WASHER MAYTAG MVWX655DW1 Arrived onsite for the washer making grinding and rubbing noises. Ms stated that she found out that the washer sounds normal but was concerned about green rubber type particles that had been coming out of the washer and into the clothes. I took photos of the green particles. I checked the tub and under the wash plate and it was clean. Ms stated that Customer Care told her that it was probably a releasing agent use on the mold when the tubs are made that probably wasn’t removed properly. I checked the unit for stored fault codes and there were none. I ran the auto diagnostics cycle and the unit sounds and works as designed. I called techline and spoke with David SR# 7723385763. David said he had never heard of this but documented my findings. Call complete.

ICE MACHINE KITCHENAID KUIC15PHZS0 "Arrived onsite for the icemaker that the needs cleaning light remains on after a cleaning cycle was run and in a regular cycle the reservoir fills and it starts circulating then drains out. I found the WLS defective causing the cleaning cycle to get interrupted, the control defaulting to a 3 minute fill time, and causing the reservoir to drain in a regular cycle just like it’s stated in TSP# 10747218 I quoted the customer SENSOR . I replaced the sensor and tested the unit. The units water fill cycle cycled off on the sensor like it should. I set the unit in a cleaning cycle and explained to mr that the needs cleaning light should go out now and if not to give us a call because the control would need to be replaced. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete."

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4816FW2 "arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and the unit showed error codes F7E5 and F5E1. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. Found that the lid switch was not locking, but the unit continued testing and it operated as designed. I removed the console and removed the J6 connector and using my multimeter I tested the J6-2 to J6-3 for continuity and read it open. I am ordering a lid switch assembly and will return with all prescreened parts. I schedule return service for 11/13/18. No water leaks observed during service. I left a brochure on the countertop for the tenant and wrote do not use the unit until repaired.; ordrng 1 W10838613 (lid lock assembly)"
