OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOS51EC0AS04 "arrived on site to inspect oven not heating. Upon further inspection, using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested on Bake at 350 degrees Standard Preheat multi rack. Once the unit turned on, my multimeter did not register any heat other than the room temp in the unit. I tested the unit on Broil at 550 degrees and the unit did not heat up. I pulled the unit from the wall and removed the top and back panels. I verified ohms to the Bake and brooks elements and the TOD. All components were good. I tested voltage from the control at P6-1 to P11-2 and only got 120 volts. I verified ohms to the fuse as well. Due to the low voltage reading from the control, I replaced the control and tested again ad only got 120 volts again. After verifying ohms to all components and voltage from the control the unit has to be wired incorrectly. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that they would need to have an electrici

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFC8090GX0 "WFC8090GX0 Arrived to instal parts. I tested within service mode and found the valve could be heard to actuate, but the filter screen was missing and I then removed and replaced the valve. The unit performed in the same manner after the valve replacement. I tested voltage to the valve and it showed 122.4. Water pressure measured at 64 psi. I found that modulating the valve and very slowly opening it very slightly, there was visible flow and when opened more, the flow stopped and the valve could be heard slamming shut. I contacted the mfg, tech Andy. Advised the technician of my findings and they advised to check the water supply. File# 7723845796. I elected to replace the ACU and during reassembly I found an area of the wire harness that had been crushed during assembly. I am suspicious the damaged harness allows correct voltage, but not enough current to hold the valves open. The unit will require the harness and please allow 2 hours for return service. A

I found and was able to show the customer the issue was with the sewer flow and it backing up after approximately 1/3 of the tub filled with water and then drained. The unit was also having difficulties completing cycles and spinning and I found the basket leaning against the right inner wall. I removed non-authorized spacers from the leveling feet and corrected the basket to chassis alignment. The customer will contact a qualified plumber to address the drain overflow issue. No leaks of he water supply observed during service.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL ED5LHAXWB00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling. Upon further inspection, the customer had the unit cleared out with the doors open and the thermostats turned all the way down/off. They advised that they noticed water leaking from the fc section of the unit. I turned the thermostats on to the manufacturers recommended settings. The Evap fan was on but the unit did not begin to cool. I removed the Evap cover to inspect the evaporator and found no frost pattern. I pulled the unit from its space and removed the back cover to expose the compressor and its components. The compressor was extremely hot and the condenser line was warm at the compressor but room temp at the condenser. I heard the start device pop so using my multimeter, I tested the compressor amps. At first, there were no amps at the compressor, but when the start device kicked on I was reading 13 amps but never got below 8 amps I left the unit unplugged. No water leaks observed during

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4800XQ2 "arrived on site to inspect washer basket coming off suspension. Upon further inspection, I opened the lid and found the basket leaning to the back left side. I found that the suspension rod had jumped out of the suspension ball causing the basket to bang around in the chassis. I tilted the unit back to inspect underneath and found some oil residue on the pulley shield. I opened the top panel and removed the tub ring, washplate and basket then tilted the unit back and removed and replaced the gearcase. I removed and replaced the suspension and put the unit back together and calibrated the unit. After calibration, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. The unit operated as designed with no error codes showing. I placed the unit in manual test mode and tested high agitation and high spin. The unit performed as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

WASHER MAYTAG MVWB725BW0 "arrived on site to inspect washer making noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the unit making noises. The video showed the unit in agitate/wash model and was making a loud metal on metal noise as if it were banging against something in the back right corner and front left corner. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes showing. The unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end of testing. The unit did not make seal noises. I placed the unit in manual test mode and tested agitate and high speed spin. During agitate without water in the tub, the unit agitated two times and stopped and showed OL on the display. I filled the tub with water and put it in agitate mode again and no issues. I drained the water and tilted the unit back to inspect the rotor/stator and all was good. The customer said the fc only reached correct temperature once and then several days after, the rc got well below freezing. I isolated the evaporators, removed and reinstalled the fc cap tube and monitored through multiple service modes. The three way valve appeared to not fully shut on several of the tests and then showed heavy restriction with normal system plumbing and isolation to the three way valve. Office to order three way valve and set service for sealed system repair, including oil-free gauges. Washer will begin a drain and spin cycle and found basket is eccentric while spinning, tub bearing is starting to fail. Drain pump is running properly. In order to ensure repair would need to rebuild the entire tub and basket assembly, replace control board and control panel. 2 technicians would be needed and labor for three hours due to the spacing in the home and location of connections. Currently washer is not leaking. Attempting repair is not recommended."
