COOKTOP GE ZGU384NSM2SS "arrived on site to inspect cooktop not igniting. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and none ignited. I verified voltage at the outlet. I removed the burner heads and cooktop and using my thermalcouple I verified voltage at the plug and the transformer and got 120 volts. I checked voltage at the transformer and got nothing. I checked red to white and red to brown. Also, I checked voltage at the spark module and got nothing. I advised the customer of my findings with the transformer and advised that the unit might need a spark module and or harness as I cannot test either until I replaced the transformer. I advised that if the unit needed one or both that the total cost would increase the amount of the part needed with no additional labor costs. . No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that he has replaced the heating element a few times and they will last a little while and then he’ll have to replace it again. The most recent time he replaced the element, it only lasted a few days then stopped. Also, the customer advised that he noticed a lot of lint built up inside the unit the last time he replaced the element. I ran a vent test on the unit and two out of two times the test showed no airflow and the unit is not heating but it is operating. . No lint observed during service, job completed."

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFC604FSS00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker at modes 14, 16, 59, 66, 67, 79, 88, and 97. The unit operated as designed except in mode 97 and it would not dispense water into the ice tray. I removed the ice maker to find the heater wires cut in two. I spliced the wires and connected them using a wire sleeve and then placed clear silicone in the ends to prevent moisture getting into the sleeve and on the wires. I tested the ice maker under mode 97 and the water dispensed. I contacted a Techline due to the door already being replaced. I spoke to TJ who provided File #7723363791 and advised to not order a new door but order the fill tube with heater assembly. I am ordering the fill tube heater assembly and scheduled return service for 11/12/18. TJ advised the tape the wires on the fill tube and pull the new wires through the top to install the new tube
