DRYER MAYTAG MED6000AW0 Arrived onsite for the dryer that is very noisy. I found one of the rollers with a piece chunked out of it causing a thumping noise. I found the motor centrifugal switch making a loud screeching noise. I installed a repair kit and a new motor. I tested the unit and could hear some vibration from the bottom. I found the bottom vibrating on the floor because the feet were stewed all the way in. I lowered the feet and tested the unit. The unit is quiet and is working as designed. The unit is not connected to a water supply. Motor is covered under manufactures 10 year part warranty. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL ED5PVEXWS06 "arrived on site to inspect ice dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, using an empty cup, I attempted to dispense ice and the unit did not work. The ice maker is working as the ice bin was full. I removed the dispenser trim and found that the bracket that holds the switches in place was broken and the ice motor switch was being depressed to engage the motor. I removed and replaced the bracket and tested and ice began to dispense. I put the dispenser assembly back together and tested the unit again and it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Office to mail a receipt to the customer as they don’t have an email address."

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRS325SDHZ01 "WRS325SDHZ01 Arrived to inspect frozen evaporator. I tested the element from the control and found 24 Ohms, as expected, on the circuit. The thermistor tested at 3.34 KOhms at a room temperature of 65. The evaporator fan was operating as designed, but I found the defrost thermistor located on the inlet side of the evaporator. I contact the MFG, tech Mark and inquired about thermistor placement. The tech advised the thermistor is likely in the correct position and could not verify positively and replacing the thermistor p/n W10384183 and UI to prevent further issue. File# 7723751048. I moved the thermistor to the suction/return side of the evaporator and returning test will need to inform CS of presence of frost/ice, upon return. No leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11214887 (UI) and 1 WPW10384183 (thermistor)"

Spoke with customer on and he stated that sometime inside light would flicker and panel would read to close door when door was closed. Removed switches and both interlock and installed new. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX735SDHZ01 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not working/cooling. Upon further inspection, I found the unit not operating except for the fc lights. The unit was already pulled from the wall so I removed the back cover to expose the compressor and components. I removed the main control cover to expose the control and found a burn spot on the main control. I unplugged the unit and removed and replaced the control and plugged it back in and the unit came on. The compressor came on and the unit began to cool. All lights were on, as well. I advised the customer of my findings. I put the back cover on and the control cover on as well. I put the unit back in its place and leveled/squared it. Checked the unit to make sure it was cooling and found that the fc and rc both were beginning to cool. Using an empty cup, I verified the water dispenser was working. No water leaks observed during, job completed."

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED5000DW2 Arrived onsite for the dryer having long dry times and taking multiple cycles to dry clothes. I found the dryer cycling all over the place. The high was at 170 degrees and the low was at 80 degrees. The operating thermostat is sticking in the open position. Mr stated he had the vent cleaned. I explained to mr that the vent was no longer completely stopped up but it still had some restriction because the temp takes longer than normal to drop. I advised mr to call vent wizard.
