Inspected unit and found no defrost system issues. Determined ice accumulation was caused by the ice maker fill tube being pointed upward, allowing water to leak down the rear liner and collect on the evaporator fan shroud. Repositioned the fill tube and sealed with silicone (W10841140). Ran a harvest cycle and verified the unit completed harvest and filled with the correct amount of water with no leaks present. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRS315SDHM13 with a loud compressor. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with power, but the compressor and fans were not on. I cycled power to the unit and placed it in diagnostics and tested. When the compressor and fans came on, I could hear the evaporator fan and is was somewhat loud, but normal for this model. I gained access to the evaporator and found a perfect frost pattern and no ice build up on the evaporator or around the fan blades. I found the gasket seals around the evap cover were smashed and causing little to no support from the evaporator heat shield, which over time will start to make a vibration noise. Using the sounds pounds prescreened for today's service, I placed the pads on the inside of the evap cover to provide better support and padding in between the shield and cover. Re-installed the evap cover and retested. The unit is much quieter and the builder arrived and approved of the noise. Unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service, job completed. The home is a new build and vacant home. W11113654-4x"

"Arrived on site to inspect range WFES3030RS0 oven tripping the breaker. Upon further inspection, I found the unit properly installed and the display showing the correct time. The customer advised that while using the oven on Bake, after a few minutes the breaker will trip. I pulled the unit out and gained access to the terminal block and wiring harness at the back of the unit. I found the power cord harness wires wrapped around each other at the junction box and corrected it. I removed the ground and performed a burnout on Bake at 500 degrees and the unit completed the preheat burnout. I reconnected thd ground and allowed the unit to cool then performed another burnout out on Bake at 500 degrees and the unit completed the 2nd preheat burnout. I allowed thd unit to heat for approximately 20 minutes and thd unit is operating as designed. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Deb and advised of the complaint, my testings, and my findings. Case #21989176. I recommended that should the breaker trip again the customer needs to notify their builder to have the breaker replaced before calling it in for service. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer MVW4505MW2 error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1-long fill. I cleared the code and continued with testing and found when the valve is engaged, water leaks out for the top panel and down the front panel on the left side upper corner. When the unit began to drain, water began to back flow out of the stand pipe. I stopped testing and advised the customer of my findings. I inspected the valve and the fill tube and found calcium deposits built up on the openings of the fill tube causing the water to be sprayed out and poured into the tube assembly. I removed and replaced the inlet valve and calibrated the unit. Retested and the unit is operating as designed. Water continued to back flow out of the stand pipe. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop KCGS356ESS05 ignitors not turning off. Upon further inspection, I tested all of the burners and found them operating as designed. The customer advised that whennusing the far left burners and the middle burner that the back right burner ignitor won't turn off. I rested the unit and found that when using the middle burner, the knob must be turned all the way to the H to get the ignitor to stop arcing. I demonstrated to the customer how turning on one burner will cause all of the burner ignitors to arc. I advised the customer that the knob must be turned past the flame indicator and the arcing would stop. I adjusted the flames for the customer and retested all burners. The unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a microwave model WMH31017HS12 that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that they heard a loud pop and then the microwave would not heat. I gained access to the interior and found all components in good condition besides the diode. I found the diode blown due to a crack on the side. I replaced the diode W11256462 and checked all door switches. I found all door switches making and breaking. I plugged the machine back in and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

While running test cycle me and the customer heard a arch sound at the switch and unit powered back of. Customer removed face plates at the switch and found issue was coming from switch arching out. Arrived on site for f8 e4 error float switch. Upon arrival inspected unit found f8 e4 error stored. Inspected float switch and tray no water ran test cycle and monitored for leaks no active leaks at this time. Customer stated after he power cycled unit it started working properly again. Inspected pressure hoseand tub everything looks good. Customers stated that she has used the unit ten times since leak happened and it hasn't leaked since then. "Electric dryer MED4500MW0. Verified unit was not heating; removed back panel. Checked thermal fuse, high limit thermostat, and heating elementall had continuity and tested good. "Serviced ice machine KUIX535HPS01 to address no ice production. Found the power button blinking on startup, indicating a faulty bin thermostat. Removed and replaced bin thermostat. Noticed the water valve humming but not functioning due to a faulty restrictor in the assembly, preventing water flow. Replaced water valve. Powered up the unit, observed the reservoir filling and water recirculating over the evaporator plate. Ice machine is now working as intended. No leaks detected at time of service."

"Arrived on site for unit tripping breaker. Upon arrival, found marking on the breaker made by our last technician and marking is still there. Proof builder did not replace breaker upon Whirlpool recommendation . Called techline and spoke with Chris SR#22085727 to document call. Continued to check each load to ground and found no shorted components. Ran oven and did not trip breaker. Broil reads 15.8 and Bake reads 13.1 amps. Unit is functioning as designed. "Arrived onsite for gas leak KSGG700ESS7. Gas on and has been on for 3 weeks after the incident where the wall plug detector alarmed once. Customer called emergency services who detected a leak and advised repair. But gas was left on. Used wand to inspect and detected no leaks. Advised customer on findings, recommended putting plug in further from the cooking area in an adjacent room and suggested that a false positive is possible for a number reasons and a leak concerns can usually be corroborated with ones nose. Arrived onsite WFG505M0MS0 and found unit operating with failure to ignite consistently because the glow ignitor had slid out of its steel bracket and did not align with the ignition ports. Restored alignment and tested. Now unit is operating as designed. No Parts

"Verified ice maker not making ice, ice dispenser when activated and spurt of water comes out if water dispenser. Rails for pantry drawer are tight and bearing are worn. Ice buildup on bottom of freezer door. Freezer liner has been sealed with silicone and door closes properly. E5 error for ice water which is failed tce maker thermistor. Verified ice box fan is running. Ordering rails for pantry drawer, freezer door gasket and machine compartment wire harness. Isolation valve diode has failed. "Cx stated that she turned off breaker to DW because it kept beeping. When she turned it back on, it stopped beeping and stopped flashing. Ran diagnostics and fault code was cleared. Based upon cx observations it was 8 blinks and cause and 4 blinks. Thus was an f8e4 fault code. Which is an open float switch. Removed toe panel and checked float pan and it had a small input of water but not enough to cause overfill fault. Ran unit and there were no signs of leaks. Ordering float switch assembly.
