"WDF520PADM9 Arrived to inspect drying. The customer had an end-of-first-year inspection and the report showed deficiencies of the unit. The first listed deficiency was the lower rack wheels loose. The inspection showed listed them as angled and possibly loose, but the angle of the wheels is part of the design of all four and I verified them operational. The report showed water bending at the end of a cycle and I tested within service test mode. All functions were present and the unit filled, circulated, dispensed, heated with the correct amp draw and cycled as designed. The customer does not regularly use the machine and they do not use or need rinse agent and I suspect that was the cause of the mention within the report. The only deficiency I found was the RO drinking waters rejection water drain line was co-located with the dishwasher drain and I advised the customer that is not advised by the manufacturer and to ensure the disposal does not clog, or have the drain line moved, which is the preferred method. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was icemaker leaking. Tested unit and found poor water pressure removed filter and water pressure was back to normal. Customer provided new filter and I replaced it and worked fine. Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing water. On inspection found the water reservoir frozen. I took a heat gun to unfreeze the reservoir. Water started to flow after about 5 minutes after the use of the heat gun. I sealed the evap cover that the reservoir sits next to. The rc evap thermistor tested good. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected.

The customer advised the unit does wash and clean their dishes, but that the dishes end up with at the end of the cycle. They also advised that sometimes the user interface does not accept their selections. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F9 E1 (slow drain), F9 E2 (drain pump electrical problem), and F6 E4 (float switch open) error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer advised that the unit has always been empty of water and has not left water inside of the dishwasher but that the heater just doesnt seem to work as well as it used to. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7736260021. He advised that the issue was with over sudsing, and that this was a Usen care issue. He advised that because the unit does complete the water cycles and just does not dry. Does not mean that the unit had a problem. Advise with the float switch and draining error codes that that would be a clear indicator of oversuds. He advised to have a customer run a clean dishwasher cycle and to switch to liquid soap. The customer advised of the unit does cool but he has temperature concerns with the unit as some of his milk has been expiring. Took temperatures on the refrigerator and freezer and found the refrigerator at 33?F. Check the freezer and found it at 0?F. The customer advised that hes been using it meat temperature probe to check temperature of the refrigerator and it has not gotten below 40? even set at 33?F. Did advise the customer that the issue may be with his temperature probe not being submerged into water or anything showing product temperature. Found no evidence of any defrost issues of any kind. Customer advise the sound had seemingly gone away, but it tends to be worse with heavy duty cycles. Test of the unit and could not get this sound replicate. Had the customer try the unit two more times with the unit starting a cycle each time. Did advise the customer that it is possible they just had a power outage or a loss of power at the outlet. Arrived onsite for a wash that is making a loud noise when in use. Upon running the unit I found that there was a noise like something hitting metal. Upon further inspection I found that there was a comb that was left in the basket of the machine. After removing the comb I tested the unit and found all functions are normal and no noise present.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is tripping the breaker as soon as it is turned on. The customer tried a different outlet and it tripped that outlets breaker. The breaker was off when I arrived and when the customer turned it on the UI illuminated and the breaker tripped. I did a visual check of the harnesses in the control box and in the compressor compartment seeing nothing wrong. I disconnected L1 and the neutral molex connector from the main control then reset the breaker and it didnt trip. I disconnected all the loads from the main control and reconnected L1 and neutral then powered on and it didnt trip the breaker. I powered off and added one molex connector at a time then powered the unit back up and could not get the breaker to trip again. After connecting all loads and powering back up the refrigerator is working as designed and all loads are functioning properly. I explained to the customer to load it up with minimum food supplies for a couple of weeks and monitor it. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is still not defrosting. On arrival I inspected the evaporator and found it with a normal frost pattern with the frost slightly thicker on the lower two coils. I found the FC at -7 degrees and the RC at 39 degrees but the customer stated that it was at 37 before she started opening it up. I found the dampener and the return vent in good condition and the evaporator fan working as designed. I went over the setting adjustments with the customer and showed them where the return air vent was and explained to not block it with product. At this time the unit is working as designed. I found the door gaskets in good condition. I did find some small gapping at the bottom between the chassis and liner. If the lower coils frost up again we will need to return with white sealant and close the gaps up. Call complete.

Upon inspection I found the drain hose was installed too far down the stand pipe causing a slow drain issue and I also found a cloth under the wash plate. I checked the gearcase and found it good. Inspected drain pump and found filter completely blocked with debris. Uploaded pic on SD. Cleared all debris and test unit by running a quick cycle. Unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit to an auto test. Found the unit Woodfill, and when it came to agitation, the control turned itself off. Drained out the water and diagnostics due to the unit not clearing out the water when power was restored to the control. Check voltage to the unit when I ran the unit through manual agitation. Did not find the voltage drop below 119 V when the control will turn itself off. Ran an extension cord to another outlet on another breaker. Still had the same issue on the other outlet. I called whirlpool techline and Spoke to Steve SR# 7736079035. He had me run several checks and resistance checks, and advised that he still was unsure about the power supply to the unit due to the control turning itself off. He was the only other issue could be a lower harness issue, but did advise he was unsure whether or not that would work. Did go over that with the customer and the customer advised they would prefer to replace the wire harness as a last ditch effort.; ordrng 1 W11233718 (Lower harness)"

Arrived onsite for a washer that will not lock and makes a bad noise when spinning and agitating. The customer stated it started the noise and she turned the machine off at the breaker but when turning it back on it started running on its own. I determined it was the drain pump that came on because the tub still had water in it. I tested the unit and duplicated the grinding sound finding the motor pulley stripped. "Arrived on site for IM not working. On inspection found the thermistor is open on the old unit. I installed the new ice maker and the thermistor was open on it to. I took a look at the wires on the fc door and they were good, I then used the test button on the IM and it ran though a harvest, home position and a fill test and it all worked. Arrived onsite for oven door handle and glass not working. On inspection found the Handel was minor a screw and the front glass had slipped down a 1/2 inch in there is a gap on top now. Ordering a new front glass.; ordrng 1 W11176456 (Front glass) and 1 W11178521 (Name plate)

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking water into the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit seems to be leaking water from around the door seal between the ice door and the icebox heater facia. Did confirm the customers complaint And found the gaskets for the ice door not sealing properly. Tested the ice box heater, facia, and found no heat coming from the facia in use. "WSR57R18DM05 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. The customer said the unit operated within their expectations since installation, but within the last few weeks the issue of being too warm (50s) had started. Mid-chamber, the unit was at 50?F. Exposing the evaporator, I found the low side return appeared to be oily at the joint and will required a evaporator, compressor, dye drier and service port. Unit is R600a and full copper. No water connections to unit. "Arrived onsite to test unit for condensation on FC door, tested unit found no issues with brackets or slides, noticed that gasket had a small amount of condensation do to a small gap on top corner, added a s all strip of perma gum, gasket is now sealing as designed, no leaks detected job complete"

Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Test unit and check control plugg unit back in and unit working at this time job complete

Arrived onsite for unit not igniting correctly on left front burner. Upon arrival inspected unit. Orifice holder had already been replaced. Examined further and found burner was warped causing cap not to sit properly creating a gap and improper gas flow. Spoke with SW and CS. Replaced LF burner WPW10406878 and caps.

"Arrived on site for dryer taking along time to dry . Found during temp check unit is not heating at all. Checked and found only one leg off voltage at terminal block . Arrived onsite for a DW that is not heating. Upon inspection I found that the heater was showing open. I installed the new heater and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed.

"Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found it trips breaker immediately after being plugged in. Disconnected power cord from cabinet and breaker does not trip. Disconnected everything from main control board and plug the main power cord back in and it still trips. Spoke with Techline short is likely somewhere inside cabinet wiring It is not accessible

"Arrived on site and inspected microwave and found it has power but user interface is not displaying. After replacement user interface is working properly. Ran microwave twice to ensure correct operation, job complete

Arrived on site to install parts previously diagnosed. Installed all parts and tested. Unit is now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed.

Arrived on site for burn smell and Tripping breaker. Upon arrival gained access to rear of unit. Checked polarity and is good. Ran unit on high heat on timed dry. Unit starts correctly. Observed element as if heat cycles correctly. Ran vent test and is good. Cannot duplicate the burning smell or the tripping of the breaker. Did find unit is operating on a very old breaker. Customer may need to test and inspect breaker. Unit is operating as designed. Contacted SAFTEY team and she documented the findings. Teach gave SR#7736210322. Job complete

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher control stuck on child lock. Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and the unit failed and the child lock indicator continued to flash. I removed the outer door panel and removed the control panel to inspect the User Interface (UI) and found a relay on the board had shorted. I removed and UI and placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher leaking from underneath. I found the pump diverter leaking. I replaced the sump and motor then ran the diagnostics cycle. The machine is working as designed and there were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.
