WASHER WHIRLPOOL MVWB865GC0 Arrived onsite for the washer leaving white spots on the clothes. Ms stated the unit shakes bad. I checked stored error codes and found an F0E3 & F2E2. I ran service diagnostic test 51 and all test passed. I found the unit had been installed with spacers on the legs. I removed the spacers and leveled the tub and basket in the chassis. I ran manual high speed spin and the unit was smooth. I advised the customer on using warmer water and possibly needing to get liquid detergent designed for washing colors. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Temp readings were rc=36 degrees and fc=2 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice level sensor ad it passed; tested the ice maker and it showed error code E2-motor lost position. I tested the motor in mode 57 & 59 and got no functions from the ice maker. I removed and replaced the ice maker and tested and it operated as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

RANGE KITCHENAID KSGB900ESS0 Arrived onsite for the range with the oven that needs to be recalibrated. I tested the temp with the set point at 350 degrees. I found the temp average about 15 degrees low. I put a 10 degree positive offset in the control and tested the unit. I found the temp cycling correctly but I found the burner exploding when igniting and popping when going out. This was causing the burner not to light and go thru a purge period before relighting causing the temp to drop extremely low. I adjusted the air/gas mixture and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed. There were no gas leaks present at the time of service.

OVEN KITCHENAID KEBS109BSS01 Arrived onsite for the oven displaying an F2E1 error code. The customer stated they had turned the breaker off. I hit cancel and the code went away. I tested all the selections and they all responded correctly. I set the oven to bake and the oven worked as designed. I entered diagnostics and tried to clear the code. The control would not go into edit mode. I killed the power and went back into diagnostics. I was able to clear the F2E1 error code that was stored 5 times. I checked the UI harness and it checks good. I explained to the customer that if this continued to happen the control panel would need to be replaced.

WASHER GE WCVH6800J1MS "arrived on site to inspect washer stopping prematurely. Upon further inspection, I removed the top panel and placed the unit in diagnostics. The unit showed error codes E22, E23, & E31. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. I followed the testing procedure according to the tech manual. The unit operated as designed. At the end, I tested the unit in the End of Line test sequence and the unit operated as designed. Due to the error codes E22 & 23, I removed the water lines and checked the valve screens and found some debris in the screens. Using my multimeter, I checked ohms to the valves and got 884-886 ohms which is out of range for the valves (1000-1250 ohms). I advised the customer of my findings and advised that the unit would need a water inlet valve to correct the issue.; ordrng 1 CNOTE (LSO) and 1 WH13X10023 (water valve)"

Upon further inspection, using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead at the bottom of the rc section ad tested temperature. My reading was 46 degrees on a setting of 34 degrees. I tested the fc section in the same manner and my reading was 6 degrees on a setting of 0 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found that the diffuser is not operating and is in the closed position. I advised the customer of my findings. The drain pump motor was whining loudly so I removed and replaced the drain pump and the sensor has debris built up on it that could not be removed; therefore, I removed and replaced the sensor. Upon further inspection, before placing the unit in diagnostics, I checked inside the unit and found nothing testing on the element. I did find a large amount of detergent debris baked on the element and some food items on the drain filter area. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes present. The unit operated as designed. Using my multimeter, I verified Amps when the element came on. It was pulling between 8-9 amps. I removed the outer door panel to inspect the control and dispenser. All checked good. I advised the customer of my findings and made recommendations for detergent and rinse aid use and use and care for the unit..dishwasher magic to clean the unit.
