I removed the ice bin and found the chute full of ice. I forced the ice out of the chute and the ice door opened, but when it was to close, it remained open. Also found the right RC door gasket is badly torn. I am ordering the right RC door gasket and ice door assembly and scheduled return service for 05/28/24. Placed a rag in the ice chute to prevent airflow coming in through the ice door opening and melting the ice. "Arrest onsite for refrigerator not dispensing ice. On inspection I found the ice bin had a clump of ice frozen to the bottom of the bin. I melted the ice off. Then I noticed that there was lumps of ice in the ice bin I pulled them and threw them away. I inspected the ice bin door and there is an air gap at the top on both sides. Odering a new door and a gasket. The ice on the bottom look like it was from the ice cubes melting an melting down to the auger motor and refreeze. "KBFC42FTS04 Arrived to install parts. I found the issue with the slides had resolved, as the prior ice within them had been removed via natural processes and time. The cause of the ice formation was the kick plate that was missing, had been put up behind the upper cover at some point. The kick plate had fallen into the RC door closer areas on both sides, causing the RC doors to not close fully and as designed. When I removed the kick plate, the issue was resolved and the doors operated as designed, with a significantly better seal. The FC upper drawer was also not set correctly and after correcting, the FC door shut fully. No additional charge and no leaks observed during service."

While testing, I placed my multimeter in the main harness black wire and tested amp draw to the components and found the element getting 7-9amps as designed. Arrived on site for washing machine that will not start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was working fine and then it just stopped even starting the cycle. He said that it makes a buzzing sound and then it will go to Completed cycle. I tested the unit on a normal wash cycle and did confirm the customers complaint. I attempted to spin the basket by hand and found the basket hard to spin. I checked underneath the washer and found that the cam nut had fallen off and had caused the drive pulley to rub and melt on the cover shield. I removed the cover shield and drive pulley and replaced the cam assembly. I added extra Loctite to the nut to create a proper seal. Tested the unit and found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. W10721967.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a photo and video of the clothing arrangement and the noise the unit was making. When I went to test the suspension rods by pushing down on the tub assembly, I found the tub wouldnt go down. I tilted the unit back and found the cam pulley shield had fallen off of the gearcase and was badly damaged by the pulley/belt assembly (photos). He checked the part number to ensure that that was the correct part number advise that it seemed to be correct and that we just may have gotten a bad board. I found the ice maker housing was not mounted correctly and the two rear upper hooks that secure the assembly, were not engaged into the ceiling of the RC. After correcting the issue and adjusting the doors, the gasket sealed as designed and the prior fold issue was resolved. The customer advised the unit was making a vibration sound and I utilized vibration pads to correct. No leaks observed during service."

"WRS325SDHZ08 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. I found the RC at 38 and the FC at 10 and the compressor was running. The evaporator had signs of excessive water from prior defrost that had frozen and gathered at the drip pan. Finding that only the left side had the issue, I inspected the ice maker fill tube and chute assembly. It appeared the ice maker has been overflowing within the fill tube assembly intermittently and has been causing the excessive moisture to accumulate within the evaporator, resulting in repetitive freezing. I will be supplying a part to correct the issue and will return with the fill chute as well. Tech GCO, no leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11645360 (Chute) and 1 W11650662 (Heater Assy) and 1 GCO (GCO)"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I installed shims in between the RC evap drip pan and cover to level the drip pan to allow the evaporating water to drain properly. When I went to install a new deli harness, I found the original harness not plugged in. Plugged in and the deli control came on. I inspected the harness connectors under the left side cover of the RC section and found the harness plugged in and no issues. Contacted previous tech of my findings and inspections. I did not install the harness as the deli control is operating as designed. Unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service, job completed. Installed SHIMS"

Arrived on site to test unit for fan making loud noise when set to level 3. Can hear something blocking the air making a whistle sound. They will need to check the vent ducts.

Arrived onsite for a dryer not turning on. Found the thermal fuse open. INSTALLED WP3392519 THERMAL FUSE from PR TRUCK STOCK. Tested dryer and found it working as designed. But the wall vent is completely plugged. Maintenance was here with me. I showed him and explained to him the vent needs to be cleaned out or it will blow the fuse again. Call complete. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making noises intermittently. The customer showed me a video of what was happening and it sounded like the evaporator fan was hitting ice. I gained access to the evaporator fan area and found water had been leaking from the icemaker fill tube and had been collecting in the evaporator fan area causing the fans hit ice. Ive removed all the ice and called Whirlpool Techline. I spoke to Robert SR# 7739126701. He advised that there is a new service pointer that will be coming out for this issue, and to order a fill tube sleeve. Ordering the part and rescheduled the customer to 6/3. Arrived onsite for loud noise coming from refrigerator. Customer was concerned with the vacuum noise and gurgling noise the refrigerator was making when closing the doors. I explained to the customer the noise was normal and is what happens when the gasket seals. And I explained to the customer that the compressor can ramp up when the fridge is off temperature which is a normal sound for his refrigerator. Everything on the refrigerator is working as designed at this time. Job complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED.

"Arrest onsite for washer making a loud noise. Ran the unit in diagnostics mode and found no noise. Flipped the unit and there was no oil on cabinet or rotor, there were no error codes stored. The unit is brand new and while I had it up in the air the customer saw a dent on the side of the unit. They are going to call Home Depot to replace it.
