"Arrived on site to follow up on inspecting cooltop for a gas leak. Upon further inspection, I removed all burner heads. While removing the burner heads, all screws were damaged due to age. I gained access to the gas tubes and valves and checked for leaks. I did not detect any leaks. I replaced all four orifice holders since screwswere broken inside. While removing the gas tubes attached to the orifice holders, one tube was so seized that it became damaged as I was removing it. I am ordering the left front gas tube 8285794 Returning tech to replace the gas tube and re check connections for leaks. I left the gas off until the part is replaced. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not dispensing water, but making ice. Upon further inspection, I tested the water dispenser and no water dispensed. I found the ice bin full of ice and tested the ice maker and found it harvesting and filling with water. Once I closed the FC door, the unit began to make a loud noise as if the evap fan was hitting ice. I gained access to the evap fan motor and found a large block of ice on the left side of the fan and the fan blades were rubbing on the ice. The ice build up was coming from the ice maker fill, tube leaking. I adjusted the fill tube and removed the ice from the evaporator fan and retested and it is operating as designed. I gained access to the reservoir and found it frozen. Defrosted the reservoir and retested the water dispenser and it is operating as designed. I made recommendations for food placement in the fresh foods section as all of the shelves have food items that are pushed all the way back to the back wall and blocking the airflow which can cause the reservoir to freeze if it's getting too much cold air blowing on it. Unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

MVW6230HW1 Arrived on site for a washer F9E1 . On arrival I ran diagnostic no error codes client told me that the lid lock would try and lock but didn't work . I checked ohms and with lid closed and open it had incorrect readings. Further inspection I found a broken wire harness. I replaced both parts lid lock and wireharness then ran diagnostic still didn't work . I called my leader and he told me check capacitor because product would power on but didn't do anything else. I checked MF on capacitor and it had a OL I installed new capacitor and it still didn't work I ordered new control and ui control and actuator. I rescheduled client for 3/24/25 no water leaks visible from main water supply. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles and has several error messages. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit has an error message for the load and go dispenser when turned on, an error code for a wifi needed set up error message when trying to run a clean washer cycle, and certain washer selections wont dispense the soap. I confirmed most of the customers complaints about the error messages and ran the unit through diagnostics. I found no stored error codes and ran the unit to an auto test. The unit ran as designed. I checked the system information and found no stored model or serial information. I found this was in connection with service pointer W11498806, which says the machine may not operate if missing the model and serial information. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Nate SR# 7741179409. He had me send him several photos of what was going on and after checking with the engineers, he advised the unit would be sent to review. "Arrived on site to inspect washer leaving water at bottom of basket. Upon further inspection, I found that the drain pump is operating fine now without issue. During further testing, it was discovered that the bearing was displaying signs of distress in that there was a high pitch squeal during the high spin. This indicates that this secondary issue is very likely causing the washer intermittently not to complete cycles especially under a heavier load. I explained to the customer that this problem will only get worse over time and there is nothing that can be done at this point to repair the washer at a reasonable cost. "Arrived on site to inspect washer error codes. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit is doing the same thing as previous service call, which is it'll get to the slin cycle and shut down and thenlid will stay locked and the lights flash on the control panel. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F3E2-pressure sensor fault. I cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. I contacted techline and spoke to Dylan and advised of the history, previous repairs and error codes, and my findings today. Dylan recommended performing a cleaning cycle on the unit to clear any debris from the pressure dome. I advised that I had blown through the sensor tube and it is clear. Dylan advised used running a cleaning cycle will clear any small debris that can get into the dome and can get bypassed by just blowing through the tube. Provided SR#7741175877. After I got off the phone with techline, I removed the sensor tube from the control and the tub dome and placed my thumb on the dome end and sucked through the other end and the tube held the suction. When I went to reconnsct the hose to the dome, I found the dome scratched. I contacted techline again to report my findings and spoke to Adrian. I advised of the scratch and Adrian sent a text to my phone and I provided a photo of the scratch. I advised it feels like a surface scratch and doesn't go through, but as I got a closer look, I found the dome was cracked at the base of the tub and provided another photo to techline. Adrain recommended replacing the tub and updated the info to the same SR#7741175877. I advised my customer of my findings. I am ordering the tub, CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB, and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and will return with all prescreened parts. Office to schedule return service due to the availability of the part. Confirmed failure and found the equalized pressures in a vacuum, as well as run time pressures at negative thirty on the low side and five psi on the high side. Eventually, I found that there was a leak in the drier, and I replaced the drier with wpw10143759 uv drier. Pull the vacuum and recharge system with 5.75 ounces of r134a. Found even f4ost pattern on entire rc coil and informed customer er to allow for 24hrs to stablize temps and 72 hrs for ice bin to fill. Call complete"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that will not advance three cycles or drain. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will fill but won't do anything else. I tested the lid switch and found when I closed the lid, I could not hear the switch engage. I gained access to the door switch and found the switch broken. I replaced the door switch and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete. WP8318084."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they turned the water source off due to the unit making a water flowing noise and a dripping noise. Turned the water on to the unit and tested the ice maker and found the unit operating as designed and the noise they're hearing is the fill tube to the ice maker filling the tray. I inspected underneath and around the unit and found no signs of a water leak. Unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect the oven not heating at all. Upon further inspection, I tested the bake function. I could hear the gas release and the spark igniter working. However, there was no ignition. I gained access to the burner and found that the air shutter needed to be adjusted, and the igniter position needed to be adjusted. I adjusted both and reassembled, and tested the oven. The oven is now operating as designed. No gas leaks observed during service."

"On arrival verified complaint o unit knot, draining visual inspection on the sink shows that the drain hose is connected to an air gap which is preventing proper drainage. Fixed install by attaching drain hose directly to drain pipe of sink unit.Now, drains correctly job, complete, no parts installed"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the slider and clutch failures, I gained access to the gearcase components and removed and replaced the clutch and slider and calibrated the unit. Tested in diagnostics and the unit continues to make a popping noise at the beginning of the spin cycle. I tested it several times in slow speed spin and tilted the unit back and found the popping noise is coming from the rotor and stator area. It appears the gearcase spindle is warped; therefore, I removed and replaced the gearcase, stator and rotor and calibrated the unit and the noise stopped. Retested in diagnostics and the unit is operating as designed with no abnormal noises. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W10734521, W10754448, W11449841, W11260238, W11195791"

"Arrived on site for unit having frost in freezer. Upon arrival, confirmed there is full frost pattern in the evaporator coil, capillary tube and thermistor was not tucked behind styrofoam cover. Also confirmed evaporator seal is present. Gasket is also good. When monitoring temperatures, the freezer compartment does not go before 25F. Customer stated unit is making ice normally.
