Arrived onsite for the refrigerator with a no cool condition in the RC and the FC at 26 degrees and no ice. I explained to the customer that the unit would not make ice unless the icemaker was at 8 degrees and that the FC was struggling because it was trying to constantly cool the RC because the coil was covered in ice and frost. I found the sealed system components all working properly. I found the thermistors good and the fan working as designed. I checked the drain tube and found a 1/4” gap around the tube allowing warm air to get to the evaporator. I ran sealant around the tube to prevent this. Mr stated he would defrost the unit.

"arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. I filled the tub with water approximately 1/4 full. I then drained the unit and once t(e unit was done draining, I tilted it back and found no evidence of a leak. I opened t(e top panel and inspected the inner panels and found nothing. I did find that the hose connections to the valve were badly corroded ad showed signs of possible leaks. I advised the customer of my findings and advised to change the hoses. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Continued with testing and when the motor kicked on, water began to leak from the diverter area. I canceled testing and drained the water from the unit. I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly and retested and the unit operated as designed with no more leaks. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. I found compressor very hot and condenser making a gurgling sound. Rand test 4 and unit would not cool past 55 when left on step 5 in freezer for 20 minutes. Unit has a leak in sealed system and will require new evaporators, condenser and compressor. "arrived on site and found error code for door lock, door lock is attempting to engage but not catching. After replacing the lock washer will still not pass C0 on the diagnostic cycle. Spoke with tech line and they recommended disconnecting the harness for the lock mechanism at the control board while on C0. They then recommended Reattaching the same harness and the drain pump immediately started running and the diagnostic cycle ran until completion. Connector may have been incorrect but if this does not solve the issue they recommended replacing the control board and user interface.
