REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF767SDEM01 "arrived on site to inspect frost issue in refrigerator. Upon further inspection, the contents in the rc section were removed and I removed the Evap cover and found a nice frost pattern on the evaporator. Customer concern was a small puddle of water in front of the evaporator cover on the bottom of the rc cabinet had frozen over. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked the thermistors and both were good. I tested in service test #4 and the unit operated as designed. I advised the customer of my findings. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

DRYER MAYTAG MEDB765FC0 "arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I replaced the motor, drive belt and tension pulley. The motor was making loud screeching noise due to too much torque on the motor; the tension pulley was slightly bent and causing the belt to rub against the side wall of the pulley roller which caused the belt to begin to fray. I tested the unit and it operated as designed with no more unnatural noises. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Dryer cycled up to 235 degrees with vent tube off and climbed to 248 with the dryer vent tube on. Problem is with the duct system/ ventilation system. While testing the unit the display flashed 777 and flickered. I removed and replaced the control board and unit tested as designed. Cleaned up all lint near control panel and advised customer to have vent system professionally cleaned.JOB COMPLETE

DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDT780SAEM1 Arrived onsite for the dishwasher that has a black film building up on the interior tub. I found the entire tub and inner door with a rust type of film on it. I tested the machine in diagnostics and found no stored error codes. The machine almost completed the cycle and the pump stopped when it should have been running and the unit completed the rest of the cycle. I ran the diagnostics cycle again and the pump didn’t start up immediately. The pump started after the detergent door opened and ran the remaining time of the cycle until the unit drained. The pump has voltage to it the entire time so something in the pump motor is shorting out. I replaced the pump and motor. I tested the unit in diagnostics and it completed the cycle and worked as designed. I started a cycle using an Affresh tablet to clean the inside of the machine for the customer. Call complete.

Mr stated the LED lights stop working and when this happens the dispenser will not work but the UI and the deli UI are both lit. Mr also described hearing the 3 way valve going to home position constantly when this happens indicating the unit is loosing power and resetting itself. I found the FC at 0 degrees and set at 0 degrees. I found the RC at 32 degrees when set at 37 degrees and still cooling. I had to set the UI at 40 degrees to get the unit to turn off. I found the UI very dim. Ordering and replacing the LED control, the UI control, and either the fan and harness or the main control depending on the thermistor reading on the return visit. I found the dispenser with a very slow drip just from the air on the downside of the loop in the line at the dispenser.I removed the dispenser facia and tightened the water line in the guide. I found the ice maker with a defective motor. I replaced the ice maker and the unit went into a harvest and filled with water. The dispenser never dripped while I was completing the job. I tested ohms of the shared light blue and white connections at the bottom of the door and measured 6.32 KOhms, but there is not information available to the expected ohms at that point and that is likely s good reading. Service test mode does not list the ability to engage the heaters within the ice maker area, but I did read a steady 6.8 VAC with the unit running in normal mode. I removed the ice tested and verified ice maker fill and advised the customer to contact us if there are further issues. No leaks observed during service."

Removed ice and steamed the drain from the top and bottom and tried pouring water down the drain and found only a trickle of water would run through the drain. Called tech line and spoke to Dustin #7724007502. I was unable to get a zip tie to run through the drain from the top or bottom of drain. Drain is restricted and is not a replaceable part. Per tech line no recommended repair and the customer shot call Whirlpool customer care to discuss options. I replaced the evaporator cover due to it has cracked this last time from the ice accumulation in the drain pan. Job complete

WASHER MAYTAG MVWB980BW0 "Arrived onsite for the washer getting a 5D error displayed. I questioned ms about the error and she stated the unit kept displaying an SD and LD message. I ran auto diagnostics and found the drain pump struggling to pump water but it did drain the tub but took to long causing the LD message. I explained to ms that this would also cause the SD message to appear because when the tub started in a spin the basket would still be in contact with water. I replaced the drain pump and tested the unit. The unit started pumping the water out very fast for about 10 seconds and the water just stopped flowing with the pump still running. I removed the basket and found a baby bib had been sucked into the filter hood. I removed it, reassembled the unit and ran auto diagnostics again. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete."

OVEN WHIRLPOOL WFG525S0HB0 "Arrived on site for the range to replace previous diagnosed parts. I found the gas valve good. I tested the burner and found the flame floating. I closed the air shutter down to get a proper flame. I found the DSI control that was replaced locking out after one ignition try and never retrying. I had 121 VAC from the main control to the DSI control. When I pushed on the connector at the control to check voltage the unit tried to ignite again. When pushing on the ignition harness the unit stopped trying to ignite and the burner stayed lit and there was 11 VDC going to the gas valve. The unit stayed lit for about 1 minute and the voltage dropped out to the gas valve with voltage still going from the main control to the DSI control. The DSI control needs to be replaced again along with the ignition harness. I am also bringing another ignitor just incase because the one on the burner is bent. Ordering C-notes, W11161843 HARNESS, W11162730 MODULE-SPK, & WP9758079
