I corrected a door mounting issue and verified the hinges were then both fully seated, due to suspicion of the door not sealing fully. The unit claimed preheat at 305 and climbed to 325. 300, 402. The unit into test mode at 400 degrees and the unit reported 376. I tested at several other points during the cool down, within service test mode, and found similar results of approximately 20 degrees cooler readings. I induced a 20 degree positive offset and informed the customer."

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW8540FW1 "arrived on site to inspect washer not cycling. Upon further inspection, I removed the top panel to expose the inner components of the unit. I found that the control hosing was laying on the inside of the unit as the mounts were broken, as was the top cover of the control housing. I placed the unit diagnostics to test with error code F1E2. I cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit dispensed water into the drum, but the motor never came on. I drained the water from the unit and opened the door and spun the drum and it spun freely. I verified ohms to the motor through the control connection. I checked for voltage from the control to the motor and did not get voltage. I removed and replaced the control and tested again. The unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, I removed the outer door cover to expose the control and found that the two connections from the element to the control were burnt and melted. Also, the connections on the control were burnt. Using my multimeter, I checked ohms to the bimetal and found it open. I also checked ohms to the element and it was good. However, due to the connections bring burnt, the element will need to be replaced as will the control and bimetal.

Upon further inspection, the customer opened the unit and pulled the upper rack out to show that it falls off the tracks. Also, the third rack falls off the tracks. I found that the upper rack wheels on the adjusters were broken off the adjuster. Also, the same issue with the third rack. I found that the track mount was broken and needs replacing. Also found that the left side track was badly bent from supporting the weight of the rack. I removed and replaced the upper rack adjusters and tested the unit in diagnostics. The unit operated as designed with no error codes. I am ordering the left and right third rack tracks as scheduled return service for 12/19/18. Upon further inspection, I tested all fo the burners and the only one not operating correctly was the front right burner. The flame was very low ad sometimes would burn out. I removed the burner head and cap to expose the orifice. I found some debris inside the orifice that is blocking the gas flow. I removed the orifice and cleared the debris and placed it back in the orifice holder. I put the burner head/cap on and tested the unit and it operated as designed. I quoted the customer CO100 $99.99 for diagnosis for a total including tax of $108.24. The customer paid in full. No gas leaks observed during service, job completed."

Due to the units power cord arching and causing the power cord, terminal block and main wiring harness to short and melt, I had to replace the components. At the previous service call, I replaced the main wiring harness and the terminal block. Today, I replaced the power cord ad tested the unit. Once the power was on, using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested the unit on Bake at 350 degrees. The unit heated as expected and the control display was showing the correct temps. Job completed."

I found a small ice chip in the door switch causing the switch to not completely open. I removed the ice chip and the FC light works as designed. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR AMANA ASI2575GRS00 Arrived onsite for the refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I found the dispenser working. There were no water leaks from the reservoir or the filter housing. The diffuser in this unit is a manual diffuser. I found the unit set at the recommended setting and the air temp at the reservoir at 36 degrees when the compressor cycled off. I found the return air duct in line with the reservoir and cold air coming thru the return air duct when the fan cycled off. I called techline and spoke with Tbore SR# 7723686656. Tbore stated this happens to this unit when it becomes a low use refrigerator. Tbore stated they don’t have a kit at this time to repair the issue and advised putting something on the left side of the reservoir to block the cold air from the return air duct. I took a piece of heavy cardboard and folded it in a c shape and wrapped the left side of the reservoir to block the air flow. Call complete.

WASHER MAYTAG MDB8959SBB3 "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not cleaning dishes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and it showed error codes F10E1, F6E6, F6E1, and F3E3. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end of testing. While testing, I removed the toe plate and found water soaked into the insulation and debris on the insulation. I did not find any leaks underneath, but I did find a large amount of soap debris in the reservoir at the bottom of the door. Due to error code F3E3, I verified ohms to the sensor. Due to error codes F6E6 & F6E1, I verified ohms to the float switch ad checked to make sure there was no debris under the float. The unit checks good with no mechanical issues. I advised the customer of my findings and recommended that they cut back on detergent use and to use dishwasher magic to clean the unit. Also made recommendations on cleaning the unit. No water leak
