Removed outer cover and found fuse has failed. Took one picture. Replaced fuse and found as soon as microwave is started it trips the breaker. Breaker is normal not an AFCI or GFCI. Spoke with Frigidaire tech line, Paul RF82544420 he requested that monitor switch be disconnected and when this is done microwave will heat. Found the switch holder is broken and the monitor switch was not secure. I inspected the evaporator and found a large amount of frost built up on it. I tested the element and it was good. I checked the defrost bimetal and found it open. I removed and replaced the bimetal and sealed the connections at the wire nuts with silicone to prevent any condensation getting into the connections. The unit operated as designed but after approximately five seconds, the back three burners began to arc. I removed and replaced the spark module and tested again and again the same results. Upon further inspection, the customer gave me a piece of plastic that had melted on the element that was a part to the unit. When I pulled the upper rack out, I felt it rubbing on the left side. I found that the left side adjuster housing had popped off. I adjusted the housing and tested the rack and it operated as designed. Also, I found that the third rack slide stop had fallen off and was the melted piece. I installed a new stopper from a damaged slide I had in my van stock (W10913628). Tested the rack and it operated as designed. Tested the unit and it operated as designed with no error codes. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

DRYER MAYTAG MED5500FW2 Arrived onsite for the dryer not heating. I checked voltage at the outlet and had 243VAC. I tested voltage at the control and found the heater relay closing. I checked voltage at the element and only had 121VAC from the heater relay. I backed up the circuit to the terminal block and only had 121VAC. I tested the outlet again with the dryer running and found L2 dropping out when under a load. I advised the customer to call an electrician and have the outlet checked because without a load the receptacle shows 243VAC.

FREEZER KITCHENAID KRSC503ESS00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezing up. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the refrigerator had a big block of ice at the bottom one the back wall. Customer advised test he used a hair dryer to remove it. I tested temps in the RC=39 & FC=6 degrees. I found a small amount of frost buildup on the RC Evap, but was unable to remove the styrofoam over due to ice sticking to it ad when I went to remove it, the evaporator began to come with it. I pulled the unit from the wall and found that the back wall was beginning to oxidize just under the water lines going into the unit (photo). I advised my service manager CS of the diagnosis and then contacted Techline and spoke to Butch. Butch advised to replace the Evap fan/cover assembly, both thermistors, and the UI.
