I found the main control has a failed relay on it as well as the power supply has a puffed capacitor on it. Replaced both and tested. I found the unit runs for 20 minutes now and then shuts off and back on. I found the freezer evaporator completely frozen over and causing the fan blades to be stuck. Cleared ice and tested operation. Unit now working properly. Job complete

I found everything in the sealed system functioning. I found the old style aluminum evaporator in the FC and suspect a refrigerant leak because both evaporators have a poor frost line. Ms stated that prior to this issue the refrigerator was real erratic with ice production. I asked ms if ice has ever jammed in the icemaker and she stated no. I found two other technical service pointers for low ice production on this unit. Ms stated that when hot water is selected the washer will stay on sensing/fill and never switch to the wash cycle. I ran auto diagnostics and the machine completed the cycle as designed. I checked for stored error codes and found none. I ran a quick wash cycle with the water temp set to hot and found the valve barely opening. I could open the lid and close it then the valve would open correctly. I found the correct voltage to the valve. I changed the valve and tested it in the quick wash cycle and the unit worked as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Upon further inspection, using my jumper wire, I tested the ice maker from points T to H and the IM operated as designed but no water dispensed into the tray. I found that the fill tube was blocked with ice. I cleared the ice and tested the unit and it operated and silenced water into the tray. I turned the temp setting down to help keep the line from freezing again and sealed the gaps between the line and the chassis in the back of the unit. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDF730PAYB1 "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher clean light staying on. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and it showed error codes F5E2, F6E6, F6E4. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end. I opened the unit and found detergent suds in the tub. I advised the customer to cut back on detergent use. When I went to turn the unit on, it did not respond as if there was no power. I opened and closed the door and nothing. I found that the junction box wiring was loose. I rewired the unit and tested again and it operated. When I went to open the door, during diagnostics, the unit continued to operate. The door latch seemed very difficult to open and close as well. Per service pointer W10460578B, I am ordering the door latch assembly and will return with the control; ordrng 1 CNOTE (LSO) and 1 W10619006 (latch-door)"

DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTE104DSS0 "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not heating. I placed the unit in diagnostics and it showed error code F7E1. I cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit dispensed water into the tub and I verified it was the correct amount. The unit continued and after the first wash cycle, the motor did not come back on. I advanced the unit to drain and the drain pump came on. The element came on and I verified 7-9 amps. At the end of diagnostics, the unit showed no error codes. The element was hot and sizzling. I ran through diagnostics again with error code F7E1 showing again so I cleared it. The motor never came on this time, but the drain pump and element operated as designed. The customer denied the repair and advised test they were going to contact Whirlpool due to having the repeating issues of no heat. I advised the customer that the quote is good for 30 days. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Customer says this happens every two months and they have been replacing the filter every time. Spoke with tech line and they suggested defrost controller be changed as the timer is part of it. After replacing defrost controller recommended that customer observe refrigerator for the next six months to ensure light is not premature, job complete."
