DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDF520PADM7 "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with no power. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unresponsive. I found that it is hardwired and I turned the switch on and nothing happened. I checked the breaker..turned it off and then back on and checked the unit and still nothing. I checked voltage at the junction box and there was no voltage. I checked voltage at the control as well and nothing. I advised the customer that there was no voltage to the unit and they would need to contact an electrician to look at the wiring at the hardwire switch and the breaker. Advised that once the wiring was checked and the unit still did not operate to contact the office too schedule service. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, just before testing temps, I heard the ice maker harvest and dispense ice then the water dispensed into the tray. Temp readings were RC=36 and FC=16. Checked both evaps and both were good. Placed unit in diagnostics and tested and all tests for the ice maker ad thermistors were good. I found where the ic ebony door gasket was badly gapped causing moisture around the ice box opening. Ice box was mounted flush and all the way back against the back of the RC cabinet. I am ordering the fc Evap motor/thermistor, UI, control, ice bin door and return with prescreened parts. No water leaks observed during service. Verified the complaint and removed the freezer back wall cover and noticed a massive ice buildup on the evaporator. I noticed frost on the freezer side as well letting me know there is a gap possibly in the freezer gasket allowing warm air into the freezer compartment.I used my steamer to defrost all of the ice buildup from the unit. I also applied silicone to the bottom portion of the freezer door gasket to remove the sag that was allowing the warm air to enter the freezer door.I noticed the compressor never ran so I removed and replaced the start device and the compressor started working.JOB COMPLETE
