I checked the fc evaporator and found a large amount of ice across the top of the evaporator. When I was removing the Evap fan grille, it fell off when I touched it and I found that both of the clips on the grill were broken off as was the clip on the fan shroud. I advised the customer of my findings and the customer advised that his home warranty had sent a tech from another company out prior to my visit and that tech advised it needed a sealed system. After working the situation out with the office, I advised the customer to contact AHS and schedule repair for the broken parts and the sealed system would be covered under warranty.
