Using my jumper wire, I tested the bottom ice maker in the FC section. The IM harvested but did not dispense water into the tray. I never heard the valve come on. I tested ohms to the valve and it was open. I removed and replaced the valve and retested. Nothing happened. I removed and replaced the ice maker and retested and the unit operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I opened the door and pressed the door switch to show it closed and turned the unit on. I could see that the element was functioning and illuminating. Using a dryer vent test kit (W11224254) from my service van, I tested airflow to the unit. The unit failed all three times. I disconnected the vent hose from the unit and tested again and the unit passed. I advised the my findings and suggested they have someone check the vents. DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTM354DSS4 "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher making noises during wash cycles. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and it showed error code F9E1 and F8E2. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit began to wash and was making a rattling noise. It appeared the noise was coming from the diverter area (F9E1). When I went to remove the drain pump, I found a piece of glass in the drain area. I removed ad replaced the sump/motor assembly and tested the unit and it operated as designed with no error codes. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs and made recommendations for detergent and rinse aid use and operation and care tips. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, I found that the door had been removed from the unit and the hinge clips were not set correctly causing the hinges to pop. Due to the clips being badly damaged, they will need to be replaced. After removing ad replacing the hinges and in an attempt to install the door, I found that the left hinge receiver was damaged and would not support the left hinge. I turned the unit en back on at the switch (hardwired) with no change. I checked the breaker ad it appeared to be good. I turned the breaker off and waited then turned it back on and still nothing. I tested voltage at the junction box and found only 1.7V. I tested voltage at the control and got the same results. I tripped the breaker one more time and still nothing. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that an electrician would need to take a look at the electrical aspects. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
