DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTE334GPS0 "Arrived onsite for the dishwasher with 3rd level rack issues again. The rack the customer was sent was warped also. I replaced the rack again with one that wasn’t warped and tested the unit. The rack still gets in a bind whenthe rack wheels line up with the rear rail wheels like the tub is to narrow. I found no obvious dents or damage to the tub, it’s just to narrow. Ms stated the lower rack gets in a bind also. I found the rack wheels spinning fine but when the rack gets on the inner door the wheels are jammed in to tight between the inner door tracks causing the wheels not to roll. Either the inner door is made wrong or the rack is to wide. Need to replace the tub and either the inner door or lower rack to complete service. Upon further inspection, the maintenance rep had removed the unit from the apartment and had it in the maintenance shop. Brand new unit still in the box and the complaint was that once it was installed, they could not get the control panel to respond. Removed the unit from the box and plugged it in and the panel display came on. I was able to set the clock and pressed #3 and the unit began to operate. I advised the customer of my findings. I tested voltage at the outlet and it was good. I tested voltage at the control and got 124V. I found that the green light on the control was not on. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit dispensed water into the basket but would not agitate or spin. I could hear the motor humming. I tilted the unit back and found that the capacitor was not plugged in. I plugged it in and tested again and got the same results. I followed the technician sheet in testing and I tested ohms to the actuator ad it was good. Tested voltage from the control and did not get any voltage. I removed and replaced the control and attempted to calibrate, but the unit would not spin. I am ordering the capacitor No water leaks observed during service..; ordrng 1 W11162560 (CAPACITOR )"

WASHER AMANA NTW4516FW3 Arrived onsite for the washer not starting after its powered on. Ms stated that it sometimes will not go into a spin cycle properly and it doesn’t function correctly when set on delicates and only makes a clicking sound. I cited stored error codes and found an F8E1 & F7E6. I ran the auto diagnostics test and the unit completed the cycle and worked as designed. I found the feet screwed completely up in the chassis and the basket and tub not level in the chassis. I lowered the feet and ran a control calibration. I ran the auto cycle again and the unit completed it and worked as designed. I ran the delicate cycle and tested the unit. Ms stated that after it feels it just makes a clicking sound and never agitates. The unit worked as designed in the delicate cycle. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Ran unit and only got about 115 degs at back vent and 135 degs on inside and got air flow error codes. called source, spoke w/ Mike, who says when it throws this error code, unit needs at least 3 full cycles in order for it to clear the error code. Had me check different components and all checked normal. Kept running unit and now it’s not throwing the air flow error codes. If it fails again, it may need main board, Sensor, element need replaced. Informed of regular venting cleaning and fire."

ICE MACHINE KITCHENAID KUIC18PNTS2 "Arrived onsite for the ice machine that stopped making ice and was making a loud noise again. When I arrived the unit was turned off. I turned the unit on and it went thru the flush cycle, refilled the reservoir and the sealed system components all turned on and the unit started making ice. The unit was working as designed. Ms had a video of the machine and the sound. The sound was coming from the recirculating pump but I could not see the reservoir or the return water line to the reservoir to tell if the unit had any water in it. The issue is either a defective recirculating pump or failing smart valve. Ms doesn’t want to purchase both so I explained that if it happens again we need to know if the reservoir has any water in it. Call complete."
