I found that the unit wasn’t wired correctly at the junction box as the wire nut to the white wires wasn’t secured and one of the wires was hanging out (photo). I retired the unit and placed into diagnostics and tested. Unit operated as designed. I found the unit with no toeplate and the retainers inside the unit in the silverware rack. Arrived onsite for the refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the compressor and drier. I installed a low side service tap. I vacuumed the system and it held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 4.50 oz’s of R134A. I tested the unit and it is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that was producing a burning smell. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the smell has kind of gone away and was advised to turn off the refrigerator until repair but that he had no other refrigerator to keep his items cold so he kept the refrigerator on.
