"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested voltage at the wall and got 245V. I checked the terminal block and found the ground and neutral were switched. I corrected the wiring and tested the unit and found the element not coming on. I tested the thermostat, cutoffs, fuse and element and found the cutoff and thermostat were bad. When I tested the element it showed good continuity; however, when I removed the element and visually checked it, I found the middle metal plate badly warped and crackedordrng 1 WP3977767 (Thermostat)"

Upon inspection I found that there was a leak coming from the door of the machine caused by the drain holes in the bellow being blocked with debris I cleaned it up and treated and found that that leak was no more. Upon further testing I found a leak that would only show itself when the drain pump kicked on, the leak was coming from under the unit up at the front indicating to me that the may be a leak at the hose or the pump itself. ordrng 1 AHA72973309 (PUMP ASSEMBLY,DRAIN) and 1 4738ER1002A (Washer Tub-to-Pump Hose)"

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator dripping from dispenser. Resident concerned that the unit should not be dripping after dispensing water. I examined the unit and found the unit has the normal 1-2 drops that come after shutting off the water valve. This is a normal operational behavior, water will stick and drip off the guide and housing. Confirmed valve is not weeping at all. The water drops are more noticeable on these units due to how close the fill tube is to the front edge of the unit as well as the angle, so it runs down the door. No repair can be made, this is part of the design of the unit. Call completed."

Tested forced defrost and found heater is coming on as designed. I replaced the defrost thermistor since the old one had a stripping wire. I checked the control and found its the correct control, 1 label. Reassembled and verified proper function. Repair completed."

Ran the unit through heavy agitation and spinning cycles. Could not replicate the sound. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. I removed the agitator and did not find any obstructions or stripping. Checked underneath the washer and found the slider, rotor, and clutch all working as designed. I called whirlpool tech line And spoke to Butch SR# 7736368143. He advised that based on all the previous service history and my findings that the issue would most likely have to be with consumer use and loading. He advised to have the customer keep an eye on the unit and to try to see if they can notice any patterns with when the unit does making a knocking sound. Vice to make no repairs at this time. "KRSC703HPS04 Contacted the MFG tech assist, Chris SR# 7736366440. During inspection for a noise complaint and vibration, the customer told me they found a slight amount of moisture within the FC compartment, at the bottom near the door opening. I found the mullion had a twist to the metal section, starting approximately 12 up from the bottom and getting worse as it went down. With a light placed in the FC compartment, light was visible at the affected corner area. Even pressing firmly on the door did not completely seal the area and it immediately returned to the amount shown in the pictures when released. The cabinet is correctly set and looking from the side of the unit, both doors are perfectly in plane with each other, ruling out cabinet twist, which can cause similar conditions. The tech line was unable to receive images at the time of call and I manually uploaded the images via the MFG website and called back, discussing with tech Austin.

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the open door icon is on, none of the lights are working, there is ice build up in the FC, and the FC door is hard to open. I found some frost and ice build up in the FC that was caused by the door being cracked open due to the freezer switch froze in the open position. This caused the light module housing to get broken when the door was closed. I freed up the light switch but the switch is broken and causing the lights to time out and shut off.
