I unplugged the start device and tested the compressor for a burn out. I checked the run to start and run to ground ohm reading and got a incorrect reading of around 10 when it should be around 7 indicating a faulty compressor. OVEN WHIRLPOOL WGE745C0FS01 Arrived on site for a range that would not eat properly in the lower oven and according to prior inspector the oven was 50° under what it should’ve been. Upon arrival the first thing I did was all melt the oven temp probe inside the low oven and at room temperature it combed out at 1.1ohms as it should. I’ve been tested the oven out in a bake cycle for 15 minutes. After the 15 minute. The average temp between the highest and lowest recordings I received came out to a total of 353.2°. I gained access to the compressor and found it already had an access valve on it. I hooked my gauges up to it and found low side pressure at 20inchs when on and 10 psi when the system is equalized. I installed a UV dryer. I pulled a 30 inch vacuum and found the pressure holding. I put a charge of 3.7 oz into the system. I monitored pressures and found low side at 0 psi. As I was putting away my equipment I could hear hissing coming from the dryer. I inspected the dryer and found the lock ring had failed. I don’t have another dryer to install into the system. I am ordering a dryer wpw10143759 to complete the repair. The office will reschedule due to it being a sealed system repair. Please schedule first or second stop in the am. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF757SDEM01 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezer door gasket issues. Upon further inspection, I found a gap in the FC gasket on the right side. I found the door did not close all the way and when I attempted to close it, I got some resistance on the right side. I removed the door and drawers and found a large block of ice on the bottom of the FC section and a mound of ice forming at the back right side which was keeping the door from closing. I found the drain hole clogged with ice. Using my steamer, I removed the ice from the bottom of the FC section and the ice from the drain hole, but when removing the ice from the drain hole, the water was backing into the FC section. I pulled the unit out and removed the back cover and inspected the drain tube. When I removed the tube, it was full of water. I found it plugged with debris. Removed the debris and when I placed it back on, I placed a bead of silicone around the drain tube gasket to seal the gap. T

I pulled the fascia off and tested the heater wire, I found no continuity in the wire. I tested continuity to the fill tube heater and found no continuity. I tested voltage to the heaters and found proper voltage. I gained access to dual valve and tested for voltage while calling for water, I found no voltage when using the dispenser. I tested voltage from the hv control and found no violate at the board when using the dispenser. I unplugged the unit and power cycled it. I tested the water dispenser again, the dispenser is now working. I spoke with the customer that these units are like computers, every once in a while you have to power cycle it. DRYER WHIRLPOOL WGD4815EW2 "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is taking longer than normal to dry. Using my dryer vent test kit, I tested the airflow in the unit. Placed the tester at the back right vent area and tested the unit on fluff dry with no heat. Unit failed two times. I removed the vent tube from the back of the unit and retested and the unit passed. I recommended that the customer have their dry vents in the wall to the roof inspected/cleaned. Unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service and no lint observed during service, job completed."

FREEZER FRIGIDAIRE LFFH20F3QWC "Arrived on site for freezer that is running really hot and is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Unit is sitting in a garage with no ventilation and no air conditioning. Ambient temperature of the garage was 92°F. Customer advised the issue is with the unit heating and their unit not cooling down to where they think it should be. Plugged the unit in due to customer having the unit unplugged and took amperage on the compressor. Unit was pulling 1.18 A. After 10 minutes, found unit cooling as designed. I called Frigidaire Tech line and spoke to Demarus File # 83827073. He advised that when the unit gets above 100°F, the unit will have the specific issues the customers complaining about and will get worse as temperatures increase. He advised that the unit needs to be inside at least in an air-conditioned area that will keep the ambient temperatures below 90°F for the unit to function properly.

I gained access to the fill tube and found it frozen solid. I cleared the ice from the fill tube and sealed the fill tube in the back of the unit. I cycled the icemaker and it cycled and filled properly. Unit is working as designed. No water leaks detected.

RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFG320M0BS3 Arrived on site to diagnose range they had discolor Ed flames. On arrival I tested out the bake broil and cooktop features of the range and cannot reproduce the discoloration issue that the customers had notice prior to my visit. I found that prior to the customers move in they had had some cleaning crews come in and thoroughly deep clean the house the cleaning crew had accidentally left some of the cleaning residue solutions on the cooktop which were causing it to Turn Orange whenever it was being heated up and cook. I instructed the customers on the how to remove any debris or leftover cleaning solutions that might’ve been on the range in the event of this happens again in the future and how to properly ensure that no discoloration of flames are occurring if range were to be cleaned again. Unit is functioning 100% as designed there were no gas leaks before during or after visit call complete

Upon further inspection of the unit I found that the icemaker had a thin layer of ice frozen around the harvest teeth. Customer also stated the freezer door mullion bar had not been closing properly (due running dry on grease) causing ice build up around the ice bucket dispensing area. After running a test harvest on icemaker I regreased the mullion and instructed customer to keep temp readings within freezer and ff compartments for a few days to insure no more hot air can reach up to icemaker unit. After test of ice maker everything is running as designed. Ice maker showed no signs of leaking and filled to proper level. Call complete

I replaced the drain pan heater, compressor, evaporator, & heat exchanger. I installed a low side service tap on the compressor and a dye drier in the system. I vacuumed the system and it held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 7.75 oz’s of R134A. I tested the unit and had a great frost pattern and pressures. The unit is working as designed. WASHER MAYTAG MVW7232HW0 Arrived on site for a washer that need a new lid lock and bezel. After installing parts everything was thoroughly tested and I was able to get the washer to work as it was designed during the repair process though when I first arrived I noticed that there were some odd burn marks on the back of the machine so as I was inspecting it I found that one of the capacitors on the main motherboard had somehow blown recently due to quite a few power outages at the customers claim that had back to back over the past couple weeks although the main board is still sending power everywhere that it should any time it has power down it discharges out of this capacitor and scorches the back panel just a bit we will need to return with a new main control in order to ensure that this will not occur again and I also instructed the customers to purchase a Surge protector in order to protect the washer from future power outages. ; ordrng 1 W11419171 (MAIN CONTROL)
