Ms stated she knew the unit would do this if it gets a certain temperature but she stated the unit goes to boost and constantly cycles on and off. I found the unit was set for a gas cooktop. I explained to me that the auto sensing function could be turned off and she wanted me to turn it off. I turned off auto sensing and we tested the unit boiling a pot of water because ms stated it always happens with steam more than just heat. The unit worked as designed and the fan never came on. I did advise ms to run the fan when using the cooktop because the chassis of the fan gets super hot and could damage the control.

WASHER LG WM4370HWA "arrived on site to inspect lg washer making noises and off balance. Upon further inspection, I placed it into diagnostics and tested. When the unit began the clockwise slow spin, I could hear a squeaking noise. I stopped testing and removed the back panel to expose the rotor ad found the back panel damaged and the rotor rubbing against it. Also found the harness to the stator rubbing on the back panel which had pulled it loose. Reinstalled harness, rerouted the wiring and instlalled the rear cover and retested. Unit operated as designed and no more noises and the unit was balanced. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

OVEN WHIRLPOOL KODE500ESS04 "arrived on site to inspect oven door locked and display blank after self clean. Upon further inspection, I used a piece of cardboard to unlock the door. I was going to,replace the thermal fuse to be able to test the unit; however, due to the unit door being locked, the customer did not have access to the model/serial placard ad the parts prescreened for today were incorrect. When I got the door open, I found the cooking racks still in the oven cavity. I advised the customer that when completing a self cleaning cycle, the racks must be removed or the fuse will go bad. I am ordering the fuse and blower due to customer reporting that the cooling fan/blower sounded as if something was caught in it. Also, upon return service, Techline will need to be contacted to discuss use of racks during self clean and rn service scheduled for 09/27/19. ; ordrng 1 W11204568 (FUSE-THERMAL) and 1 W11245567 (BLOWER)"

I found nothing under the float switch and it was working as designed. I found the rinse aid set to high and the customer was using a pod with rinse aid. I found the unit over sudsing and this caused water to go over the lower door seal. I went over rinse aid use with the customer. I turned the dispenser down to 1 and the unit worked as designed. OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOS51EC0AS02 "arrived on site to inspect oven no operation. Upon further inspection, I found the unit display off and no response from the UI. Power to the unit was still on. I removed the unit from the wall and tested the thermal fuse and found it open. I replaced the fuse and tested the unit on Bake @350 degrees. Customer advised that the cooling fan works and they opened the unit door to cool the unit faster so the fan would turn off and that’s when the fuse went bad. I advised the customer that opening the door while the unit is hot will cause the fuse to blow. I tested voltage to the cooling fan and got 117VAC. I tested the TOD and it is good. Tested the other components and all were good. Unit operated as designed. I put the unit ack in the wall and recommended that the customer not open the door to cool the unit and allow the cooling fan to do its job and that the fan will shut off at around 170-175 degrees.
