REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF706ESS01 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice and water leaking from the ice bucket. Upon arrival ms stated the unit started working again. Ms stated the FC was cold and the icemaker was making ice again. I checked the FC temp and found it reaching set point. I found the ice bin full of ice. Ms stated when the issue happened the product in the FC started sweating and the ice in the ice bucket started melting. I tested the thermistors and all the fans and found them all working as designed. I ran service test 4 and found the unit working as designed. I power cycled the unit to reset all the controls and to see how the unit would respond and found that after the unit powered up the FC went into a short defrost. I advised the customer to get some thermometers to put in the compartments to monitor the actual temperatures. I explained that the light will flash if the door is left open for an amount of time during the wash cycle and you have to hold start to re engage the unit to wash. I noticed the door falling and I found a hinge spring had come detached. I reattached. I advised customer to keep an eye on the unit over the next few weeks and if the green light begins to flicker mid cycle without leaving the door open it will most likely need a control and console. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when the unit was delivered and plugged in, it began to make a loud noise coming from the compressor. Upon arrival I found drain lines were ok clear and customer had stated she had run the dishwasher a few times since previous visit and that sometimes the unit seemed to drain ok and other times it wouldn’t. I tested voltage to drain pump from PCB. It drain pump was receiving a stable 120v. I ran 2 test cycles and noticed the drain pump sounded like something was rattling in it. I drain and cleared what water had accumulated in the sump area and disconnected the drain pump itself from the sump. I found no debri of any kind within the exposed sump or drain. I ran a third test and found unit drain fine on third test but still making the same rattling noise. WASHER SAMSUNG WF405ATPASU/A2 Arrived on site for washer that was leaking whenever in use and upon arrival customer stated that the more clothes they tried to wash and the bigger the loads the moral of water would leak out. Upon arrival I ran a diagnostic check on the Samsung and cannot find any error codes indicating any hardware software failures but when I disassembled the front drain pump compartment door I found there’s a lot of rust around the mounting bracket of the drain pump and then inspected drain pump area and found that one of the pressure hoses that goes to the bottom of the drain and tub work area have fallen lose off on its mounting brackets and landed on the drain pump which then caused it to melt a hole through the hose. Upon arrival I found the all fans and compressor running. Customer stated ice cream had softened some prior to cooling issue in ff compartment and that ice maker had stopped making ice as well prior to cooling issue. Upon inspection of the fresh food section I found a thick layer of ice forming around the evaporator compartment. I found unit was having a miscommunication between the main Ui control and defrost thermistors in the ff compartment. I was able to complete repairs and ran a diagnostic to verify no new problems were occuring. Unit had no errors, the 3 way valve and compressor as well as condenser fan motor all worked in conjunction with each phase they were activated and both evap coils as well as the fans were running and distributing healthy frost patterns. MICROWAVE KITCHENAID KMHS120ESS09 "Arrived on site for a microwave that was not heating but has power. Customer mentioned that two days after last visit they heard a loud pop, and that was when the current problem started. Once we removed the microwave we checked continuity on the fuse and found it open but the switches were all good. We then received 0 ohms on the magnetron as well made sure they were tight, and got OL between the filament and chassis being good. I found no other readings to ground on the L1 or N circuit. I replaced the fuse W10138793 with one from truck stock. I tested the microwave with the HV circuit disconnected and it worked as designed. I tested the unit with the HV circuit connected and it worked the first time but the second time the circuit breaker tripped. I tested the cord and was getting a reading from chassis ground to N. I traced the neutral circuit to the hood lamp socket causing the issue. Need to replace the socket and possibly the bulb to complete th

Took temperatures in unit and found unit sitting at 37°F. Customer advised that his food was freezing in several sections of his refrigerator. Found dude pushed up all the way against the back and overstocked. Advise customer of airflow issue and that that would cause items to freeze in certain areas and have a hard time cooling the entire unit. Tested icemaker using a jumper and unit completed a harvest cycle and filled. Checked thermistors and icebox fan in service diagnostics and both were working as designed

WASHER MAYTAG MVWB835DW4 Arrived on site for a washer that’s making a screeching sound as it fills. Inspected unit and work area. Place unit and service diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Placed unit in an auto testing unit ran as designed. Customer advised it was happening as it was spinning. Play Stena and a high-speed spin and unit rain has designed with no abnormal sounds. Customer advised that maybe it needed some weight in the unit so we added several towels and placed it in a normal cycle and let it fill. Unit ran is designed and got to agitation and had no problems. Placed unit back into a rinse and spin and unit filled and spun and agitated with no issue. Placed unit in a high speed spin and had no issues. Customer advised that they will take a video of the sound the next time and will send it in with the complaint. Unit is working as designed and could not replicate issues. Call complete.
