"Arrived on site for dryer shutting down in mid cycle and not allowing to power on 30 to 40 minutes after unit cools down. Performed diagnostics mode and checked temperature on UI on display with vent disconnected. Called Samsung tech support and spoke with Steve, monitor temperature and tested live voltage. Unit was operating as designed. Continued to run and unit finally powered off. Called Samsung tech support , due to no wire diagram. Tested voltage at dead state and found main control at fault. Found unit started and was heating. Pulled unit out to test voltage and it stop working. Tested voltage at terminal block and found no voltage at L1. Tested at wall outlet and found correct. Plugged unit in and unit started working. Moved power cord and found unit would shut down. Found short in power cord.
