"arrived on site to inspect dishwasher control panel not functioning. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that only some of the buttons work on the panel. I found that the child lock was on. I cleared the lock and placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Once the unit began testing, I attempted to advance the test and the start button failed. I attempted to stop testing and the cancel button failed as well. I f undo a service pointer #W10727550B ad it advised to inspect the the ribbon going from the UI panel to the control for any slivering. I found some slivering at the beginning of the ribbon at the UI. I contacted Techline and spoke to ED and provided my findings. Ed provided File #7725746896 as well. Installed new sump assembly and tested operation. I found that the hot water takes a long time to get to sink and instructed customer that the hot water would need to be ran at the sink before starting a cycle to ensure optimal wash performance. Arrived onsite for the ice machine that was making too much ice but now stopped making ice at all and it makes a loud noise. I found the fill valve coil open not allowing water into the unit. I found the resistance on the bin thermistor way out of range causing the unit to not shut off when the bin was full of ice. I replaced the fill valve and bin thermistor. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Requested that customer observe temperature for 24 hours to see if thermistor has corrected issue. If not a sealed system redo may be needed.
