"Arrived on site to diagnose cooktop with a non lighting front right burner. Tested burner and found no spark. I moved the igniter around and did get it to start sparking, but spark looked weak compared to the other burners. Opened the unit and found the igniter wire was pinched between the module and a manifold pipe, folding the wire almost in half. I replaced the igniter and module and retested. Found burner to be fully functional. Repair completed."

"WOC54EC0HS20 Arrived to correct door issue. I found the door required Lessing on it to get the light to go out. Further inspection revealed the unit was installed incorrectly and the back of the legs were not touching the bottom of the cabinet, on the right rear corner, gapped by approximately 3/16. Using shims, I was able to correct the units leg contact points and get it to sit flatly within the cabinet, and plumb within the installation cutout. During testing the door operation was improved, but still unsatisfactory to the consumer, whom is familiar with the product. The customer told me the unit was a replacement for a prior damaged one and the issues started after this one was installed. I suspect the switches were damaged at some point prior to this installation and the right side is where the issue lies. Seeing this type of issue prior, the right interlock is damaged and will require replacement. I verified the door is sealing and compressing the gasket as expected. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not starting cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit will do the sensing portion of the cycle and then will completely quit and say that that job is complete without filling with water or starting the actual cycle. Ran it through diagnostics and found an F7 E4 (basket re-engagement fault) and F6 E3 (ACU cannot hear MCU) eror codes. Tested the unit and found agitation working but the spin portion of the cycle not working. Gained access underneath and found the slider intact but partially worn. Replaced the slider and tested the unit. Still have the same issue. Replaced the control due to the error code message and control. Fault. Tested the unit again and still had the same issue. Checked through the wire harness and found the white wire going to the shifter from the control open, indicating a bad circuit and harness. Arrived onsite for a freezer not making ice. I found ice in the mold. I ran a harvest test and the icemaker went thru a harvest and worked as designed. I ran a fill test and could hear the valve energizing but no water entered the mold. I disconnected the fill tube at the filter and ran the fill test again and had water coming out of the filter head. I ran service test 66 to turn the fill tube heater on and the UI reset and knocked me out of diagnostics showing a power failure. I checked the resistance on the fill tube heater and found it showing 19 ohms and in range. I disconnected the heater and ran test 66 again and verified 12 VDC to the heater. I reconnected the heater and every time test 66 was turned on the UI would reset and show power failure. The UI and possibly the fill tube assembly will need to be replaced. "Arrived on site to diagnose dryer that is making a consistent buzzing sound. Examined and tested unit and confirmed noise happened soon after cycle started. Noise sounds similar to a buzzing capacitor. Sounded like noise was coming from the control triacs. Replaced control and retested. Noise still present with new control, but slightly quieter. Traced noise to interior of unit where it's either coming from a buzzing steak valve, or the motor itself. Noise sounds electrical and does not sound like rotational mass noises. "Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed the mullion for inspection and found one of the wires had been sheared off, likely during manufacturing. I installed the replacement. Verifying the inability of the UI to enter full test mode and only able to enter into the error mode, I removed and replaced. The new UI showed F3E8 within service test mode, when the new UI was installed. Attempts to get the unit into test mode still failed, even though it was able to be put into the first stage, error mode. I tested the harness from end-to-end and found very good continuity on all four wires. The 5VDC was present and I could read DCV on the other two connections as well, but the information for exacting expected readings was not published. I attempted main control replacement and there was no change. The RC door gaskets were mis-ordered and will require a return service. Office to order the H/T sensor, second door gasket and UI.Contacted MFG tech Rich. File# 7736494884. I was advised there is not a current work around for the service mode issue and it has been submitted to engineering for a direct response. The tech agreed with my summary and parts to be ordered. Arrived on site for washer still not starting cycles correctly. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue and called whirlpool commercial techline and spoke with Jordan 05/25/23 11:40am/ 12:40pm. After checking voltage reading with techline and running diagnostics resets we narrowed failure to ui control logic freezing and resetting cycle. Techline recommended replacing W11475812 ui control. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling well in the RC. The customer stated now its not cooling well in either compartment. I found the evaporator packed in frost and not defrosting due to the bimetal separating and not closing properly. I removed the frost and replaced the bimetal thermostat. Arrived onsite and repaired unit with glitch symptom. Power cycled for 5 minutes which restored function to normal. All checks good

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested voltage at the outlet and got 245V. I tested the unit and found the element not coming on. I disassembled the unit and tested the element,cutoff, thermostat and fuse and found the element open. I removed the element to find the middle metal plate badly warped and cracked and the coils broken. I cleaned the lint from the unit (before/after photos) and installed a new element and reassembled the unit. Retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Test unit and found unit getting 5v. Plugged unit in to another outlet and unit working correctly.

"rE 06 02 20, 06 04 20, 06 00 20. Per the MFG service documentation, the codes listed were for the FF ice maker, with which, the unit is not equipped. I tested all available FZ ice maker tests and found no mechanical or electrical faults. The ice maker had cubes within it and they were ejected as well. The FZ ice maker full test, #100, revealed all functions were present, however, water did not enter the ice maker mold and the valve could be heard operating. I found the fill line was frozen and I tested continuity and voltage supply to the fill tube heater and found them correct and present. The factory applied heat tape was incorrectly applied in the area where the freezing occurred and I corrected and re-wrapped with foil tape, spreading the element wires to opposing sides of the tubing, as the rest of the tube, that was unaffected, was wrapped. I tested again and all functions returned. No leaks observed during service.

"WOS31ES0JS01 Arrived to inspect no power. I found the thermal fuse had failed and I removed and replaced. All functions resumed and the unit heated and cycled as designed.

"Arrived on site for range showing F6E1 in diagnostics. Upon arriving confirmed issue and found the following errors: F1e0, F6E1, F8E0. Found elements both in tact. Found oven sensor at 1.09k at room temp at reached around 1.67k after 45 minute 350 degree test. Couldnt replicate any of the error codes or find faults with ACU or cooling fan. Found unit could hold temps for 45 minutes wit,hour failure. Reset unit and instructed customer to use oven and see if issue reoccurs. Call complete"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that stopped cooling. I found the system almost out of refrigerant. I checked all the lower unit parts and found no signs of dye. I found no traces of dye in the condenser pan. I exposed the evaporator and found no signs of dye. I verified there was dye in the system at the drier access valve. I looked for signs around the FC door and rear chassis finding no dye. I removed the refrigerant and filled the system with nitrogen and verified there is a slow leak in the chassis. Call complete.

I found an F6 E2 (UI cannot hear ACU) and F6 E3 (ACU cannot hear UI) error codes. Checked connections and found proper connections. I advised the customer that if they had replaced the main control board, the issue would be with the User Interface. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is making a noise as it runs. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and heard a small rattling coming from the dryer as the drum was turning. Disassembled the unit and found several rollers that were stuck causing the issue. "ZDT925SPN3SS Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I removed and replaced the main control and tested. The heating returned and I verified 118 VAC present, to the heater. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not heating. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F10E1 & F7E1. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit filled with water and began the wash cycles and drained. I had my multimeter on the black wire at the junction box and when it came time for the element to come on, there was no amp draw reading. I removed the outer door panel and inspected the main control and found the harness molex connector at the control shorted and burnt. Unit left turned off at the main switch and no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for oven cycle on and off. On inspection pulled the unit and checked the power was getting 248vac. I then turn the unit on to preheat I used rapid. The unit got to 280? in stopped and rebooted . I called WP tech line they said that the UI need to be replaced and maybe the control board.

"Arrived onsite for oven with no power. Checked breaker and it was good, gain access to the oven had 248 to the oven. Checked power to control board and there was no power to the control board. Found the thermal fuse and had 124vac to the thermal fuse but 0 volts coming out of the thermal fuse. Replaced the thermal fuse and the unit came on. The unit is working as designed.

Upon further, I found the FC module not functioning; the two modules on the ice box housing were flickering as were the three modules on the waterbox. I removed and replaced the FC module and tested and all lights mentioned are operating as designed. Unit is cooling properly and operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a dryer not working. I found the timer switch not closing between C/black wire and H/violet wire when the timer is turned on. I inspected the harness at the timer and found nothing wrong with it. I replaced the timer and tried to start the dryer but nothing happened. I tested L1 circuit to the motor and found 123VAC to the motor at all test points to ground. I tested voltage from T2 to H on the timer and had 13VAC. I traced the neutral circuit and found the connection between all the neutral wires in the control panel had come disconnected in the blue shrink wrap. I connected the harness and tested the dryer. The dryer is working as designed. I stopped and started it multiple times in front of the customer showing him it worked. I tested the amp draw at H on the timer where the timers have been failing and had .10 amps the entire time the dryer was running. This is not going to cause the switch points to fail in the timers. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for buttons getting stuck. Showed builder how to turn it on and off with out pushing the buttons to far back. Job complete and replaced control board.

Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was making noise / shaking. I attempted to remove the washplate but found it was completely stuck to the gearcase. Attempted to separate washplate and could not hammer it out. Advised customer I would need to cut the washplate out and replace it. Customer does not want to spend more money on the unit and will replace. Call complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose upright freezer that is not cooling. Examined unit and found the evaporator covered in frost / iced over causing airflow not to be able to move. Removed evap cover and found 2 wires on the defrost heater completely severed. I was able to depin the connector and repair the wiring with solder seals. Reconnected and verified continuity from the heater. Customer advised to defrost unit to remove ice build up. Repair completed.

"WDT730PAHZ0 Arrived to inspect drying issues. There were no stored error codes and I found the dispenser lid assembly would not operate as designed and I replaced the dispenser. Service test mode showed all functions present and the unit completed the cycle as designed. The customer pre-rinses well and was using pods. I advised against the use due to the excessive amount of detergent creating foam, which prevents the expected heat transfer and made a recommendation for detergent type and amount. I set the rinse agent dispenser to 1 and advised on rinse agent use. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."
