"arrived on site to inspect washer speaker not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and in the process of doing such, the signal never chimed. I continued with testing and when the unit got to agitation, the unit began to make a loud grinding noise. When it began to spin, the noise was louder. I ran the diagnostics cycle and found the detergent door opening as designed. I found some suds from the rinse aid but not as much as usual with the dispenser set to max. I advised the customer to get the finish jet dry because it seems to work better in the water in this area. I explained to the customer that it takes about 90 washers to cure the plastic tub and I explained about loading metal and glass around the plastics to help with drying. Call complete.

I visually checked the element and found in the back right corner near the element connector, the element appears to be going back as it’s discolored. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested amp draw to the element and it was showing 7-9amps. Tested ohms to the element and it showed to be good. I tested voltage and it was getting 124V. Due to the intermittent drying and the discoloring I removed and replaced the element and rested. Unit is operating as designed and heating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
