The fresh food thermistor tested good. I tested the temp and found it about 6 degrees colder than the setting of 38 degrees. I entered service test 211 and put an offset in the control. I let the unit cycle and the sealed system is shutting off when the shelf temp is 38 degrees now. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"arrived on site to inspect dryer taking too long to dry. Upon further inspection, using my vent test kit, I tested airflow to the unit. Unit failed 2 times. I disconnected the vent tube from the back of the unit and retested and he unit passed. I removed the lower front panel and found a small amount of lint inside the unit and lint clumped inside the blower wheel. Also found the element not heating properly. I removed and replaced the element and vacuumed the lint out of the unit. Retested, and the unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

I lifted the top panel and turned the unit on again and the noise sounded as if it were coming from the motor area. "Arrived onsite for the washer that still is not starting correctly. Ms stated that the issue is inconsistent but after the last time we were out the unit will powered up but the start button sometimes will not respond and start the machine. I tried to run diagnostics and the control froze with all of the lights on. I did a power reset and tried it again. There were no stored error codes. The unit completed the auto cycle and irked as designed. I tried a regular cycle and the powered on but none of the other buttons would respond. I ran diagnostics again and performed the UI test and all of the selections worked as designed. There is an issue with the electronics shorting out and the control panel, main control, and UI harness need to all be replaced at the same time. Explain to the customer that that is normal. The right interlock is moved by a rod inside the unit that he cannot see. Customer understands the operation. Tested for leaks and none were found.

"arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. The customer advised that since the previous repair, the unit has operated as designed; however, there have been some rust looking stuff coming from the washer. Customer advised that the washplate bolt has held and they have been able to complete laundry without the washplate coming off. I advised the customer that the debris they were seeing was old detergent and soils that collect in the unit and just needs to be run through a couple of cleaning cycles. I advised the customer that since the original bolt has held, I will replace the bolt with a newer, improved bolt and that should fix their issue with the washplate. I removed and replaced the washplate bolt and tested and it is secured. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking water and frost buildup. Upon further inspection, I found ice buildup in the back left corner of the ice maker housing. Also found that the unit I making ice. I removed the ice maker housing and contacted Techline and spoke to Mike. I advised him that the IM housing adaptor has been replaced two times and still having the issue with the ice buildup in the back of the adaptor. Mike suggested replacing the adaptor again and doubling up the gasket that is at the back of the IM housing attached to the cabinet and to use permagum to seal any remaining gaps. He advised to check airflow from the openings at the back of the RC section going into the IM and to check for a vent hole on the left side of the tower approximately one down from the top. Also advised to go into diagnostics at test #7 and switch the defrost time from 01 to 02. Airflow was good and the vent hole was present. Mike provided File #7725682
