Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice. The customer stated the FC icemaker works good but the RC icemaker stopped making ice. I found the fan working as designed. "Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that will not start and the control panel is non responsive. I found no power to the dishwasher. I found the circuit breaker tripped. I reset the breaker and it blinked 3 times and tripped again. The breaker needs to be replaced and I explained this to the customer. I plugged the dishwasher into the disposal outlet to test it. I found an F6E4 error. I ran diagnostics and found it not filling with water. I checked the float switch and found the switch closed. I checked for voltage at the valve and had none. The resistance of the valve was in range. I tested voltage out of the control to the valve and had none. I found wrong voltage readings to ground and tested polarity at the outlet finding it correct but the polarity was reversed at the j-box. I corrected the polarity and replaced the control. I tested the unit and it still would not fill. I tested voltage out of the new control from P6-4 to neutral and had no voltage. I tested the circuits from the control and the float switch showed open but when I tested the switch itself it showed closed. Ordering another control, float switch, and the harness. Marking all other parts as UORV. Ordering W10906426 control, W11227372 harness, and WPW10195039 switch. Office to RS. "Arrived onsite for a microwave that the vent hood fan is not coming on. I verified 121VAC out of the control to the fan from P4-5 black to P2-3 blue. The unit either has a bad fan motor, capacitor, resistor, or wasnt plugged back in after the fan was rotated for an external vent. I am not able to drop this unit by myself because of the height and when lowered far enough to get a good hold on it the wall bracket is binding. It will require two men to drop it. Entered service test mode and found 10-3 stored in memory and I noted the only light that would blink was on the console, and not the frontal indicator, in unison, as usually expected. Returning tech will need to reconnect secured fan motor, 5VDC connection upon installation of vent assembly. Office to order fan, no leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice and is fluctuating in temperature. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that theyve been having this problem for the last week and had issues with things in the freezer being soft. I did confirm the customers complaint and took temperature of the freezer and refrigerator. Found the freezer at 13?F and the refrigerator at 38?F. Found no evidence of any defrost issue inside of the unit. Took an amp draw off of the compressor and found it pulling .741 A, but the compressor was hot to touch. Found a leak on the low side line at the compressor. Spoke to JC and was advisory order all sealed some stuff and contact Tech line. "Arrived on site to diagnose dryer popping the breaker when used. Customer said it pops when they open the door, and they saw a black spot inside. Examined unit and found the interior light had blown apart and shorted, and the light housing, socket, bulb and wiring were all burnt. When I checked the rear of the unit i saw the rear panel was crushed right on top of the heating element, likely driving the element coil to the chassis and shorting it. Ordering all parts to resolve. Ordering harness, rear panel, bulb, lens, housing, socket, heating element, control may also be needed. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit with the microwave element support broken. Upon further inspection, I found the microwave element hanging down and the support missing. Once I had the unit disassembled, I found the clip in place along with a piece of the support. I installed a new support and reassembled the unit and tested. When I cycled power to the unit, I found the microwave light not coming on. I went to test the microwave and found the panel display showing error code F6E8. Cleared the code and attempted to test the microwave and it failed and the error code displayed again. Following the tech sheet, I found all connections good and the control getting 125V. I cycled power and placed in diagnostics and cleared the code and retested and the code reappeared. "LMXS28596S Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the unit attempting to cool, but with slightly above room temperature RC and FC chambers. The compressor was running, but at room temperature, with no appreciable heat. The current draw, measured on the compressor voltage supply is usually an inaccurate measurement method with this type of unit, but with the meter in my possession, I found the compressor draw to be .6 amps, generally considered too low for the conditions the unit was found in. This denotes the high likelihood of compressor internal failure, but does not rule out the possibility of a system leak and cannot be tested further without tapping into the system

I remove the entire light fixture from the top of the cabinet and found no evidence of smoke, cut or charred wiring, or burning coming from the bulb, bulb housing or cabinet. The customer advised that it hasnt made the same smoke up here since but wanted to have it checked. The unit is working as designed.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a broken icemaker. I found the drive broken between the ice tray and motor not allowing the tray to move to the home position. I replaced the icemaker. The new icemaker went to the home position and is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher with a broken upper rack. I found the left adjuster broken causing the issue. I advised the customer to replace both adjusters. The customer agreed. I replaced both adjusters and the rack is working as designed. Call complete.

Remove cold water supply line and found it is blocked by calcium build up, took pictures. Flushed water line and cleared valve as much as possible of calcium. Cold water flow is now good. Replacing valve will not correct issue if water supply still has calcium deposit in it.

Arrived on site to replace drain pump. Upon arrival. Top of unit is disassembled as well as water hose disconnected and on floor. Replaced the drain pump and test unit. Unit has same issue. Need to replace pump. Removed new drain pump and reinstalled faulty pump. Job complete

Ran diagnostic cycle and found diverter on wash motor is not working. At the end of the diagnostic cycle heating element is now working again. "Arrived onsite for Dishwasher not draining. On inspection found water in th bottom of the unit, tried to pump it out without any luck. Vacuuming the out found the stainer was clogged. I pulled the drain hose so I could see the blades on the pump. I called for it to drain and the blade did not move but I could hear the motor turn on without the blades moving. Replaced the pump and tested unit. The unit is operating as designed. The part was covered under AE 1 year warranty."

"WOC54EC0HS20 Arrived to inspect noise. I found and isolated the noise to the microwave cooling fan. Removal and replacement corrected the issue and I attempted to install it back into the cabinet. I noted a severe rearward tilt and attempted to correct. Ultimately, I was not able to correct the installation issue due to the back of the lower panel that supports the oven within the cabinet, angled downwards toward the rear. I advised the customer the panel tilt/misalignment should be corrected and installing supports along the sides of the cabinet would likely correct the issue, after ensuring the panel is level and at a right angle to the cabinet sides and front and rear. Operational test ok."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is still leaking. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that she ran the dishwasher prior to our service and the unit was still going through a dishwashing cycle. She did advise that the unit was not leaking at this point even though it had been an hour, but that she usually gets about 10 drops to half a cup with water on the left-hand side of the dishwasher when the dishwasher is through. Checked the door and found evidence of water on the left hand outer edge of the door. Checked behind the front door panel, and found no evidence of leaking from the vent or dispenser. Found steam settling on the outer edge of the frame where the inner door meets the gasket and water condensating in dripping from there. Went ahead and replace the door gasket and test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present. Told the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. I did find the cutting grid broken and went ahead and replace the cutting grid. The customer advised the unit stopped making ice on Friday of last week and completely was advised by Sunday. They tried to power cycle the unit and tested several other times after replacing the filter. Ran the ice machine through diagnostics and found all tests pass. I ran the unit through a normal icemaking cycle. The unit field, recirculated, froze an ice sheet on the evaporator plate, and finally harvested. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still dripping water in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit has been leaking water intermittently since the previous repair and that the freezer temperature is not exactly where she expects it to be. Found the cover not completely installed properly creating an airflow issue and checked the evaporator. Found a good frost pattern on the evaporator and checked the amp draw on the compressor. Found the compressor pulling proper amperage. Did advise the customer that because they dont have a defrost issue and they have a good frost pattern, the issue would have to be with the settings on the unit. Found the freezer control at minimum and the refrigerator at the recomm setting. She did advise that the refrigerator has not had any temperature concerns except for freezing vegetables when she turns down the thermostat on her refrigerator. Found the customer storing lettuce in the bottom drawer in the back. Did advise the customer that as cold air falls, anything stuck in the back of the refrigerator is liable to freeze and to move her water based vegetables to the middle of the fridge. steamed out excess frost in the drain hole and found it properly draining into the drip pan underneath. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Spoke to seeA the icemaker and the cover at no charge, but was advised to call whirlpool Tech line for further assistance. I called whirlpool tag line and spoke to Brandon SR# 7736499913. He advised that based on the fact that there was no bowing on the door or the cover, that the issue would have to be an environmental or customer usage issue. He said that the customer may find that the unit works fine when they first replace the water filter and when it starts going out, the unit doesnt fill right and is causing larger than normal cubes. Advise the only thing I could advise to replace is the icemaker. Went ahead and replaced the icemaker and cover test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I did a paper test per techlines request and the gasket was putting drag on the paper all the way across the top of the door. I replaced the door and the gasket. Call complete.

Arrived on site for range not heating up to set temps. Upon arrival confirmed issue but found no errors in diagnostics. Found bake element wrapped and oven sensor ohming at 1.3k and increasing to 1.67k faster then oven would preheat. Replaced bake element and sensor. Tested unit and found oven heating as designed. Arrived on site for refrigerator not sealing properly. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found fc gasket not fully seated in door properly. Pressed gasket into position and reshaped left side of fc gasket to make sure it was sealing to door. Also added clear silicone to top and right side of inner fc liner due to gaps between liners. Found doors properly sealing after adjustments. Informed customer to give unit 24hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete

Arrived on site for dishwasher not filling with water. Upon arrival confirmed unit wouldnt fill in normal operation but didnt find any errors in diagnostics. Inspected valve and found harness loose. Locked harness into position and found dishwasher filling and washing as designed with no leaks. Call complete

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher to replace the heating element for special project S17304. I replaced the heater and tested the machine. The machine is working as designed and there were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dryer with clothes wet at the end of the cycle. I tested the dryer finding it working correctly except clothing was not contacting the sensor bars correctly. I set the feet correctly to allow the clothes to tumble over each other and contact the sensor bars correctly. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not draining. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they ran a load a week ago of heavy duty towels, and that the unit did not drain all the water out they advised that after they left it for a while, the water did drain out, but that the clothes were not Fully rang out. Ran unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Found the washer, completely unlevel and banging against the front and right side of the cabinets. Attempted to adjust the feet to accommodate the flooring. Found that the adjustments that the washer could make would not properly level the washer on the customers flooring and did advise the customer to get some rubber shams the square out and level the washer prior to any further service. Did advise the customer the issue would most likely be with an off-balance load due to all components. Running an operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a washer displaying an SD message. I checked stored error codes and found an F9E1 & F8E1. I ran the auto test cycle and the unit completed the cycle and worked as designed. I ran manual loads and filled the machine with all the valves finding it filling properly. I ran the manual drain and the machine drained fast. I went over detergent use and settings with the customer on how they default to the last cycle run. All is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the icemaker is not working on and the upper RC lights are not working. I found the molex for the icebox not plugged in at the top of the RC. I plugged it in and the icemaker went thru a harvest and filled. I found the FC light not connected good. I snapped the connector together and all the lights are working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for not draining. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got F9-E1 long drain. I inspected drain pump and found harness to pump is not secured. Secured connection and test unit. Unit operates as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site to replace compressor and perform sealed system repair. Evacuated system and found pressure present but no cool. Compressor was dead on arrival. Removed old compressor and drier and replaced. Tested unit at 100psi with nitrogen and confirmed no leaks present. Vacuumed and confirmed vac held. Charged to manufacturer spec. Tested unit and confirmed proper compressor function and cooling had started. Repair completed.
