I found the door gasket dirty with lint keeping it from sealing properly at the bottom. I found none of the settings with the steam option turned on. I cleaned the gasket and showed the customer. I found the cycle signal set to off. I turned the cycle signal to level 3 and showed the customer how to change the signal. Call complete.

After replacement washer will enter a diagnostic cycle but is otherwise unresponsive. It will not show any error codes, it will not start a diagnostic cycle, and you cannot power cycle it. After several minutes it then shows an F6E2 error code. Reinstalled original control panel and control board and error is still happening. Spoke with tech line and they recommended checking harness continuity between control board and control panel. Disassembled washer again and found harness checks good. DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED8000DW4 "Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that had an intermittent squeaking sound, customer says is more notice less when cold. Performed diagnostics and ran unit. Shortly after starting a brief loud squeak could be heard, sounded almost like a belt or pulley catching. Dissembled unit and installed new belt, rollers and pulley from repair kit. Noticed that it appears the felt trim on the drum might actually be burning or running into high friction resulting in black marks on the sheet metal housings for it (pics in SD quickpics). Reassembled unit and retested, and all noise is gone. If the issue comes back, we need to order a new drum kit since felt,will come installed (W10626460). At this time all appears to be working as designed with no noise present. Call complete."

DRYER LG DLG7051Z "Arrived on site to diagnose gas dryer with strong gas smell. Diagnosed unit and found connections tight in back, but saw vent hose was completely crushed and folded in half. Opened unit to check inside and found entire inside of unit covered in lint and fur. Lint and fur were wrapped around the gas valve. With the obstructions in the unit and blocked airflow gas had nowhere to vent and the blocked gas was fumigating the room. In romped the hose and cleaned out inside of unit. Cleaned unit and reassembled and unkinked dryer hose. All is now working as designed with no gas smell present anymore.

Upon further inspection, I found the unit had power as the lights were on, but it was not cooling and none of the fans nor the compressor were on. I placed the unit in diagnostics and attempted to run test 4 and nothing happened. I cycled the power to the unit and the unit came on. I ran test 4 in diagnostics again and the unit has a weak compressor and possibly a leak in the system as it did not cool and there was no frost pattern on either evaporator. I advised the customer that the unit definitely needs a sealed system completed and both the power control and HV control along with both Evap harnesses. Unit was left plugged in and no water leaks observed during service. Job completed."
